Dear clients,

Unfortunately Anneli has come down with something nasty, and has been laid up in bed for the past 5 days. She’s tested negative for COVID, but she’s likely at least a day or two from recovery still.

We deeply apologize for any reschedules this is causing, and humbly ask for your understanding and grace. Brandon is currently doing a job far above what he was originally hired to do, essentially keeping the salon running by himself, and Anneli will be working overtime into the evenings to accommodate rescheduled appointments as soon as she’s up for it!

Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this is has caused and is causing, and we’re so grateful to our amazing clients for all your well wishes, love and support.

Anneli can’t wait to feel better and be back in the salon!

We’d like to express gratitude to our clients for their support while Anneli has been traveling and competing in grooming competitions, growing her skills and continuing her education.

Although she didn’t take home any placements in her individual classes, it hasn’t been a fruitless spring! 💐 In the collaborative Tag Team contest at Intergroom in New Jersey, Anneli and her friends Sophie (MN) and Anastaxia (NJ) managed to snag a third place 🥉 with Sophie’s mini poodle, LuLa.

Handstripping is a specialized form of removing coat from a wire-coated dog by pulling loose hairs out by hand rather than using a clipper. It does not hurt the dog, and for some breeds, can play a significant role in maintaining coat health, integrity, and color vibrance.

Anneli is an advanced beginner at handstripping and is currently seeking more handstrip clients to further her skills. Handstrip clients will receive steeply discounted grooms, but ☝🏼 will have to commit to a regular grooming schedule.
