Good old Rocky is on the road again today for a $176 (minimum) re-check at the specialist’s.

Remember, he still needs teeth pulled.

This boy has already cost us over $1,000. Our adoption fees only cover basic vetting. Everything else we do for these cats is dependent on your donations.

Can you help us cover Rocky’s re-check today?

Pretty please? 🙏🏻

Did somebody say they’d like to have a stumpy kitten and her sister, too?

Meet Furiosa and Jo - the two babies in the hoard house video who were wading through the kitchen garbage.

It was Furiosa’s missing arm that pushed us to move into that hoard situation immediately.

When you hear there’s a 3 legged kitten, your imagination runs wild - and not in a good way!

But little Furiosa’s situation couldn’t have panned out better, all things considered.

The vet did not believe amputation was necessary, so she gets to keep her stump and continue to play like all the others.

The only thing her lil nub prevents her from is climbing the cat tree… but we have no doubt that she will find a way to get to the top of it one of these days! In the meantime, a little stool to help her on her way up is appreciated!

But don’t let her inability to scale the tree lead you to believe that she can’t play hard.

Furiosa still finds a way to jump on her foster parents backs when she’s feeling extra playful, and can take on her 5 foster siblings in a long playing match.

Furiosa definitely brings the energy to this duo, while Jo brings the calm.

Jo loves a relaxing day high atop the cat tree, and bird watching has become her new favorite way to pass the time.

When she’s tired of chilling up high, she finds her way to a human’s lap for some biscuit making and pets.

Both Jo and Furiosa LOVE a good cuddle sesh with a human, as well as with another cat.

These girls are quite literally perfect, as they balance each other out with their personalities, and at the end of the day, just want a person to call theirs.

We’re here begging again. 😞

We mean it when we say that $1 from everyone who sees this post can and will make a huge difference for us.

We are genuinely very nervous about how we are going to get through the next week with the cats in our care.

If you have $1 to spare, please send it our way. We promise it will go a long way.

Using sweet Valentine’s cute face to get your attention.

We only raised about $200 this afternoon. While we are extremely grateful for those who chipped in, it is unfortunately nowhere near enough for Rocky’s dental.

If you can donate, there’s still time! 🙏🏻

Rocky - our 2025 ultimate problem child - is in need of a dental. (As if his multiple specialist appointments for his eyes weren’t enough of a financial burden! 😭)

Dentals are expensive.

We have under $800 in our bank account.

Can you help?

Literally $1 every person who sees this post could put us in a very comfortable place with $$. It can also get Rocky his much needed dental.

Are you looking for a new cat friend?

More importantly, is your cat looking for a new cat friend?

Good, you’ve come to the right place.

Meet Donna, a formerly feral, currently toothless, forever spectacular girl looking for her forever home.

Why did we keep and rehab this former feral?

Well, when she got her spay, the vet discovered a broken leg. They asked us if we wanted to amputate, but that was a loaded question to answer under pressure.

How would she survive with 3 legs and a coyote who presents itself at her colony now and again?

So we decided to hang onto her for a while, see if we could socialize, and get a second opinion.

Second opinion told us the break had healed, and to let her keep her leg - which was wonderful news! But at this point, she was already far too used to regular meals and a warm bed… so she stayed inside with her foster momma and continued to blossom!

Donna is still a bit of a shy girl that is sweet with people, but absolutely ADORES other cats.

She is looking for a home with a young, playful friend that will keep teaching her the joys of being part of a family.

She’s an old soul, but a young girl with a lot of life and love ahead of her.

Don’t miss out on this friend for your kitty. She will be easy to acclimate and likely stay out of your hair. ❤️

Boo and Radley are two of the black cats we pulled from the sad hoard house of the deceased man in February.

They were the 2 more outgoing and curious cats when we had initially entered the home, but once taken into foster, they needed a really long adjustment period.

While Boo (female) has come around much faster than Radley (Male), they are both slowly acclimating to normalcy.

They are playful kitties who will require a patient new parent to help them continue on their way to being the cats they were always meant to be!

If you’ve got a quiet and clutter-free home, these guys would make great companions. (We say clutter-free because they came from a home filled with so much garbage, and we don’t want them reverting back to hiding. They have come so far!)

We would bet they’d do excellent with other kitties - if you’re looking to add to your current brood!

They aren’t yet listed on out Petfinder, but if you or a friend are interested, shoot us a message!

Please share! 🙏🏻

Hey friends! Remember Philthy McNasty?

We trapped him several weeks ago, and while we have had moments of hope that he would be accepting of love, it has become very clear that he is a very unhappy feral boy.

So why not just return him to where he came from?

Glad you asked.

When we first trapped Phil, he was filthy, skinny and clearly extremely hungry.

He comes from an area in the section of Pittsburgh, and there are no feeders in his immediate area.

He was shacking up under the porch of that abandoned house in the photos, and even if you put your face close to that crack in the porch, you can feel the temperature drop immensely. (It was freezing in there.)

We are very dedicated to giving each of our cats the best shot at the good life, and putting him back there feels cruel.

Where will his next meal come from? Where will he stay warm?

In cases like this, we like to try to find barn homes.

The potential barn home would have to be on board with properly acclimating him to the area by crating him for 6 weeks minimum before releasing onto the property.

We would also hope that the barn home would make sure that he doesn’t suffer in the instance that he became sick.

Do you know anyone with lots of property who could use a neutered, tested and vaccinated feral cat?

If so, please have them reach out to us! And share Philthy so that your friends can share, too! ❤️

This afternoon, we were informed that there are 4 or 5 friendly cats in need of indoor placement.

We unfortunately have no free fosters, and we are truly too low on funds.

How can you help? Foster. Donate $$. Share our posts. Comment on our posts. Encourage your friends to foster or adopt.

We can’t do this alone. 🙏🏻

Ever had your insides removed and just not want to hear another word about it?

Jo feels the same.

Jo had some vomiting overnight and didn’t want to eat her breakfast, so her foster has her at the vet this morning.

Jo is one of the older kittens seen in the hoard house video we posted yesterday.

We only want the best for these guys, so hoping this little bout of nausea is nothing more than residual pain from her spay this week. 🤞🏻 We shall see!

As always, if you’d like to help with Jo’s vet bill today, we would be grateful!

❣️ A T T E N T I O N ❣️

Can you foster a cat?

The answer is likely “yes”!

All you need is a spare room, bathroom, office space or basement!

☔️ Spring is springin hard, and it’s been raining cats and kittens! ☔️

The requests to help kitties have been pouring in, and we’ve been needing to say “no” due to lack of space!! (Which we hate.)

If you’re willing to give fostering a try, we would love to have you on our team!

Please filll out a foster application here:

Little miss Gray Girl is going back to her feeder tonight.

Since she is toothless now, her feeder is going to keep her indoors.

Here’s to hoping she adjusts well and begins to enjoy the indoor life.

We don’t know if this will be last we see of her, as her feeder may ask for help in the future…

But if we don’t see her again, know that your contributions have given her her life back! She surely would have died from that mouth infection. ❤️

We are still accepting donations for other kitties in our care, so if you like what we do, please hit up our Venmo or PayPal! Our bank account is dangerously low right now, and we have many others to take care of.

UPDATE: Belle has been found, and is back in her foster home.

Absolutely NOT what we like to post.

Our senior foster Belle somehow escaped her foster home in the last few days.

She has not been seen since March 30th.

She went missing from Thomas Blvd. and 5th Ave.

PLEASE SHARE! PLEASE KEEP AN EYE OUT!

If you know of anyone who feeds cats or walks dogs in that area, please make them aware!

If you are willing to help hang posters this evening, please message us.

Thank you!

Our sweet and petite Anemone found herself at the vet last night - looking like she’s about to cry as she waits for Dr. Sudberg to give her all of the attention.

Anemone started sneezing in the last few days, and was showing signs of a UTI.

Anemone is currently in a foster home where she has to spend most of her day in a cat crate, which is very stressful for her and likely the cause of her current issues.

Have you been wanting to foster? Anemone gets along great with other kitties (when she has free roam of the house), and she is extra sweet with the humans.

Outside of Anemone, kitten season is among us, and we desperately need new fosters to join our crew!

If you’re willing to help out with Anemone, or want to foster some kittens in the very near future, or maybe just want one calm adult cat to give your spare attention to… please fill out our foster application!
