Rusty came in for his routine check up and routine bladder scan to make sure his pesky stones aren’t coming back!
He enjoyed his technician Kelsey holding him and distracting him so much he continued to lay in position even after his scan was done!

Sweet “Honey Bear” came to us for her VIP puppy booster appointment this afternoon. Everyday we see a puppy is a good day, but this good girl lived up to her name and was super sweet!
Did you know that when puppies are very small we will often recommend splitting vaccines up at least 2 weeks apart? Luckily this girls mama signed up for a plan so all of the appointments and boosters are covered so we get Honey Bear more days and she stays feeling good after each appointment!

Let’s talk emergency visits!
Poor, sweet boy Ripken got bit by some bumble bees this morning. While some dogs won’t show a reaction, the majority will present with hives and / or facial swelling. In severe cases you can see an anaphylactic reaction.
Luckily, this precious boy is a VIP plan puppy. His mom was able to catch him having a reaction and rush him into us at no charge. After an injection of a steroid and Benadryl his swelling was almost gone by the time he left!
Always contact your vet as soon as you notice something is off with your babies. Has your dog experience a bee sting before? 🐾🐝

Did you know this year we have seen an increase in kennel cough? If your animal goes to the groomer, the kennel, or highly populated areas we recommend updating this vaccine to help protect them!

Make sure your animal through this week has updated tags on their collars as scared animals run. Check your fences/yard to make sure there is not an easy escape route, and see what time your area sets off their fireworks and try and have them out before then!

✨Harlow and Snoop loved their fear free exams today!✨ Wanna hear how it went??? 🏡 It started at home! Both of them were given pre visit medication to help with anxiety. 🐶 After sitting pretty on the scale, they went into their own exam room, away from other environmental stressors. 👩🏼⚕️ The doctor and technician got on the floor with them to do their exams, no scary tables! 🧀 They both ate off a lick mat for their vaccines, and didn’t notice a thing! ❤️ Both of them had their yearly heartworm/tick exposure testing, and after drawing the blood were rewarded with some extra whipped cream 🧪 Snoop also received addition lab testing since he is older to check his liver, kidney, and thyroid function along with other things. 🦷 Once Snoop is given the all clear will be getting a dental cleaning! Willy used to be terrified of the vet. It used to take multiple people to get him in the building, he wouldn’t even get out of the car. He hated being on exam tables. Now he loves coming in for his laser treatments and hanging out with his friends 💕 Fear free is the way to go 🐾❤️
