Our favorite girl came to see us today!
Leela came to us a bit nervous at the vet.. after her first visit she realized she got the best snacks!

A few visits later miss Leela came to us today with some itchy skin! Just like us, our pets can have a hard time adjusting to the change in season. We most frequently see full body scratching, secondary ear infections, secondary skin infections.
Luckily her parents came to us before it became bad. With some of our good allergy medications, allergy testing, and lots of cheese she is now good to go for fall!

Our first ever VIP Bat 🦇
Brownie came in today to finish up his kitten boosters. He was a wild one playing in the room, but being held like a baby worked like a charm.
We updated this sweet boys vaccines upside down whiling eating a snack, because it’s fear free 🖤🐾🦇

It was a healthy competition today on who loved who more. Fred thinks he won, but we think otherwise.
His favorite treat was sqeeeze cheese and he loved any of our toys!
This happy pants got his distemper booster and his bordetella, he is now one leap away from making all the new fur friends he wants!

The answer is 3!
One feeds the best snacks ever
One is the vampire who draws the blood
One keeps said orange kitten from devouring the treats before we are done

Fear free allows us to get what we need medically while not adding extra stress and anxiety to your pet! When you start the fear free approach with kittens early on, you end up with adult cats who ENJOY the vet!

Did you know when we see a change in season, we often see an increase in allergies? Just like us, pets can react differently to the allergens in the environment, often times they get itchy, secondary ear infections, redness to the skin, etc.

Even though he’s named after a vampire, our newest kitten Eric Northman left his fangs at home!
Between the cat nip, toys and cat tunnel we are pretty sure he thought his vaccine appointment was a play date!

Did you know kittens require multiple vaccines and a blood test to make sure they are puurfectly healthy to join your family? Give us a call if you are concerned your baby might be in need of some boosters!

Ella came running in for her puppy vaccines. She was very excited to play and get her peanut butter! We love our vip puppies and getting to spoil them🐾

Santa’s little elf Nellie had to get her rabies updated to continue helping at the workshop.. don’t worry, the magic snow from the can kept her distracted so we stayed on her nice list 🐾💙✨

✨Harlow and Snoop loved their fear free exams today!✨ Wanna hear how it went??? 🏡 It started at home! Both of them were given pre visit medication to help with anxiety. 🐶 After sitting pretty on the scale, they went into their own exam room, away from other environmental stressors. 👩🏼‍⚕️ The doctor and technician got on the floor with them to do their exams, no scary tables! 🧀 They both ate off a lick mat for their vaccines, and didn’t notice a thing! ❤️ Both of them had their yearly heartworm/tick exposure testing, and after drawing the blood were rewarded with some extra whipped cream 🧪 Snoop also received addition lab testing since he is older to check his liver, kidney, and thyroid function along with other things. 🦷 Once Snoop is given the all clear will be getting a dental cleaning! Willy used to be terrified of the vet. It used to take multiple people to get him in the building, he wouldn’t even get out of the car. He hated being on exam tables. Now he loves coming in for his laser treatments and hanging out with his friends 💕 Fear free is the way to go 🐾❤️
