Hello Friends!
We already have some food in the ground. We have not set our watering schedule yet. Is there anyone available to water the farm today? We have tomatoes, peppers, greens, lettuce, spinach and chard planted. Please let me know. We don’t want our food to die. We have much more to plant 🌱 💜💛

Hello ALL!
I’m so happy that our newly established greens are getting some much needed rain. However, we are going to cancel for today as it’s just too wet.

If you’re able to gather up any cardboard so that we can wood chip the walkways before the end of the season, that would be great! Feel free to drop them off outside the fence.

Did a little tomato picking with my granddaughter at FOOD FOR THE SOUL COMMUNITY GARDEN!!

Also 2 green peppers and some string beans!! Beautiful!! Then there were the Brussels sprouts , such a little serving and oh soooo good!!

I hope you’re staying cool on this hot day! If anyone has a few minutes to water our newly established greens, early this evening, that would be awesome! They were watered this morning but can surely use another drink during this weather. We surely don’t want them to die 😊💜💛

We are canceling our work day for today, July 27, 2023. It’s dangerously hot today! Please stay cool.

Also, I planted some more beans in the rows with the greens. Please remember to water them on your watering day. Also, please remember to water the pollinator plants. I’ll see you all next week.

Good Day!! I went to the garden late, but my gardening friends were hard at work!! New Friends, even children who were working hard and using tools!!
My granddaughter Brielle and I stopped by, so I could at least pull some weeds and see everyone!! Brielle got to do some watering and she liked it!! She wants to come back!! All of this time I’ve been trying to describe my gardening experiences!! It is sooo SATISFYING, pulling weeds, planting and just the peacefulness, socializing and amazement that happens!!! You really ought to try it!!

Hey community! We had some great volunteers from Stantec Architects come out to help give us jump on our growing season, today. They helped clean out the beds more and moved some soil inside as well. Hopefully the weather is ready to cooperate so that we can get to planting. 💜💛

Hello Everyone!

This weather don’t want to let us live! We are going to cancel today, as it’s too wet. Tomorrow we will have some volunteers come and help move the soil to the beds, if the weather permits. I hope you all are staying dry!
