#ThursdayTips Occasionally tip your Siberian’s toy chest so they can select their own toy.
Mila chooses her fish kicker toy when she’s feeling fiesty!
Thank you for sharing Meowmy Sarah S 💜
Happy Easter from All of Us & ForestWind Mila!
Mila’s Meowma created a clever and cat safe Easter egg hunt!
Using dried fish and chicken, she stuffed and hid eggs for Mila to find.
As you can see it was wonderfully successful 🐣
Great idea, Sarah Swarthout !
#TuesdayTransition Mila’s Meowma ensured environmental enrichment interest by introducing a “Robo Fish” toy.
Regularly changing out toys, and rotating in toys with movement help keep your Siberian kitten healthily stimulated and engaged.
Thank you for sharing Sarah S!
#ThursdayTip Environmental Enrichment is essential for Siberian cats.
Assess your home to determine where you might add safe access to outdoors, such as Meowmy Brittany’s incredible purpose built catio that allows her girl secure enjoyment of the outside world.
🙌🏻#WednesdayWorkout Finn’s Meowma Rafia Kanji says that 10” in the stroller really “exercised” him.
Consider adding this safe and stimulating way to experience the outdoors with your Siberian cat while exercising yourself with a brisk walk!
Happy Sunday! We’re about to take down our tree, and were delighted to note that - as usual - we haven’t had any breakage. This year only one ornament had to be rehung.
How does ForestWind Siberians successfully manage a Christmas tree?
1. Unbreakable ornaments (consider supergluing bulb tops on so they don’t release the ornament).
2. LED lights.
3. No tinsel or flocking spray.
4. Live, fresh tree, with no preservatives in stand water.
5. Close doors to prevent access when unable to supervise tree.
Nekko loves playing catch!
Siberian cats are particularly attracted to natural fur, leather, and feather toys like the “Rosie Rat” Nekko is catching.
Natural toys like Rosie are often tricky to find.
We are excited to have discovered Mickey's Pet Supplies and highly recommend their terrific range of natural cat toys🌟
Thank you for sharing, Meowmy Jennifer S!
#TuesdayTransition Large, sturdy climbers may seem oversized for your Siberian kitten, but are the right investment in Environmental Enrichment.
Catastrophic Creations has just the ticket for a happy & healthy Siberian cat!
Happiest of Birthdays, ForestWind style.

#TuesdayTransition Tummy rubs. Yes or No?
Many kitties do not like tummy rubs. During Transition consider not attempting them. After your kitten has settled in you can gently explore with your Siberian kitten if a tummy rub is a yea or nay.
As you can see, Zelda votes “Yea!”
Gentle handling = gentle Siberian kittens.
#FridayFYI Lead & harness train your Siberian to dramatically increase environmental enrichment.
See comments for Uza Palooza’s Meowma’s training tips.
After many assessments, Uza’s Meowma choose the Voyager harness and lead, harness linked here:

#WednesdayWow! Teaching your Siberian cat tricks is a good form of environmental enrichment. ForestWind Kordelia shows us how it’s done.
With thanks to Meowmy Lori 💜
#TransitionTuesday
This is what successful transition of a senior Siberian looks like 💜
Strategies used:
* Environmental enrichment
* Warm, cosy hiding place
* Multiple smaller meals
* Engaging in known enjoyed activities together (in this case grooming, petting, talking)
* Lots of time together in the Transition space, speaking quietly, calmly, and lovingly.
