Nye was found as a stray on New Year’s Eve and hopped right into his finder’s car, proving he’s a people-loving pup through and through. He’s all about toys, treats, and belly rubs, and he can’t wait to find a family that will shower him with love. 🥰

Looking for a snuggle buddy? ♥️ Nye is your guy! While we’re not sure how he feels about other furry friends, HARP’s team can help with introductions and set up a meet-and-greet at the shelter. Nye does have some medical considerations, and HARP’s medical team will be happy to provide more details before adoption.

Have you tried our enrichment program with Katelyn? This program is for any of our clients, for grooming, daycare or boarding. You can schedule a session and just bring your pup in for that session. The activities Katelyn does with the dogs helps them to get rid of some built up energy and helps them physically and mentally. She works with scent work, agility, and practice commands but tries new things as the program grows. Many dogs are gaining confidence after working with Katelyn. This lovable girl knows "sit" and is always up for a game of fetch, making her the perfect companion for active adventures. Kim adores pets, hugs, belly rubs, and snuggles, but she’s also crate-trained to keep her mischief in check when you’re not around. 🐾

Say hello to Chicory! 🐶 This adorable pup came to Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (HARP) as a stray and has blossomed into a joyful and loving companion. Though she was initially a bit nervous, Chicory has made incredible progress in building her confidence. She's a pint-sized cuddle bug who adores attention—especially after getting her zoomies out! 🐾

Treats are the way to Chicory's heart, and she's learning that humans can be her best friends. If you have another dog at home, it is recommended to schedule a meet-and-greet to see if they’re a perfect match. Stop by HARP's East Side shelter to meet this little sweetheart! 💗

One of our groomers giving these two adorable pups a spa day! They even had to bring their favorite toy on this adventure. Book your dog’s next grooming appointment / spa day. We offer de-sheds and full grooms but also full baths that include a nail grind and ear cleaning.

Get your dog scheduled with Katelyn to get their enrichment started with her. Enrichment is great for all dogs, no matter size, breed, or age. There are so many different benefits. Enrichment prevents boredom,builds confidence, teaches skills, reduces anxiety, and so much more. Enrichment is important for your dog’s mental and physical health.

Tank is doing the first enrichment session with Katelyn! He has that nose of his working hard to find them tasty treats! Make sure to schedule your dog for upcoming weeks to do enrichment with Katelyn.
