Hello, my name is Tracy Petruzzi and I am the new and proud owner of Grandma’s Dog Daycare & Boarding!! New Owner for Grandma's!!
Yes, we found a buyer at the very last minute. On our last Friday to be exact! Now all they have to do is lease the building and as long as that goes well, they will Reopen on Monday, September 12.

Just after breakfast is a favorite playtime for boarding dogs Poppy and Voltaire. Boston Terrier Poppy is 15 months old and Voltaire, an Australian Cattle Dog, will be 2 in September. Voltaire didn't eat for a number of days the first time he boarded at Grandma's but he chows down with the best of them now.

Mini Bernedoodle, Bandit, just 4 months old today, loves to play with two-year-old Evie, a terrier mix.

Sawyer is a three month old Aussiedoodle with too much energy to play with tiny dogs. Today he has Boston Terrier Poppy who is 1 year 2 months and Husky mix Lottie who is 1 year 6 months. The three have gone non-stop since arriving at Grandma's this morning. #doglifeisgood

Samoyed, Whitely, heads toward the action at daycare. Lottie, a mix of Husky and Corgi, has the new squeaky toy and gets in the highest position to defend it. Mini Australian Shepherd Sparky and Polish Lowland Sheepdog Corby follow along. Voltaire, an Australian Cattle Dog, bounces over to get in on the action. Then Lottie leads the pack to Golden Retriever Piper who has been sitting by the fence. Clearly, little Lottie is the captain of the team for this game. [Corby, the oldest in this group bides her time while the others run. She'll sort them all out later!] # doglife

Sawyer, a 14 week old Aussiedoodle, is happy to play with Evie, a terrier mix. Today is Sawyer's first day at Grandma's. Evie has nearly a year's experience in daycare and will take on anybody who wants to wrestle. #puppy

Thank heavens Bandit is in daycare and not home alone when he gets his mouth stuck in his collar! This situation is caused by a collar being too loose. Remember that to measure the fit you should be able to slide just two fingers under the collar. Puppy owners should check the fit often as the pup grows. Owners of adult dogs should also check because collars stretch. #franticpuppy

We've got a five and a half pound Bandit in daycare today! The Mini Bernedoodle came to his forever home in Pittsburgh just three days ago. He is four months old. Bandit has excellent dog manners thanks to remaining with his Mom until this week. #bernedoodle

Voltaire, an Australian Cattle Dog, will be two in September. He enjoys his first daycare experience by chewing on big Hotchner, a Mastiff mix who is eight. Lottie, a mix of Husky and Corgi, and Sparky, an Australian Shepherd, are both a year old. They are always ready to mix it up. #doglife

Happy First Birthday to Whitley!

Sparky is a 15 month old Miniature Australian Shepherd in daycare for the very first time. He instantly made friends with Lottie who is near the same age. She is a Corgie/Husky mix. They had great fun for hours on end.

Today is Olive's 8th Birthday. She has come to Grandma's since she was 3 months old. She's here now for boarding so is having a special party with the other boarders tonight. She is a Chocolate Dapple Miniature Dachshund. #dogbirthday

Steve, a black lab mix, is eight-years-old today. He started coming to daycare when he was just 5 months old. All the daycare dogs too home bags stuffed with treats, ice cream and Grandma's homemade "mutt muffins." Steve also got a new toy from Grandma. Whitley, a Samoyed, is waiting for his treat bag. #dogbirthday

Grandma has six tiny dogs [from 6 to 14 pounds] for the weekend. They have the run of the building on Sunday. Some of them enjoy being photographed.

On a super hot day, Grandma's is like the dog park only with air conditioning.

Today is Cooper's 6th Birthday. His friends at daycare got ice cream and home made cookies inside a goodie bag of treats. Cooper was abandoned as a puppy but found a loving home. He's been coming to Grandma's for training and daycare since 2016.
