Early this morning, our 15 year old kittitian island dog, Maya Ruiz, crossed the rainbow bridge. Even though she was an elderly, paralyzed dog with severe arthritis, my sack of potatoes still managed to ‘seal’ her way to grab Commodus’ tail…which you can see the fluff in her mouth on the attached picture. I will miss her demanding annoying barks wanting food all the time. Those 14 years we shared together were the most memorable being she was there during challenging events in my life.
