Jack was found outside all by himself as a wee baby, Christa Riesett Amari got the call and took him in. With a lot of TLC from Christa, this little boy is now a healthy, happy kitten 🩵. Two adoptions this evening 😻
🩵 Shiro, our sweet white wonder boy, was chosen by his new family!

It's almost time!!!

Kitty Queen Cat Rescue is a couple weeks away from being able to get into our new spay/neuter clinic space!

The push is on! We are in HUGE need of funds to help get this project off the ground! We still need to purchase equipment and hire a full time vet. We have a few interested in vet tech positions and we have a relief vet on standby. We are SOOOOOOO excited!!!

On this cold and dreary Sunday, Kitty Queen was abuzz with warmth and affection! Hunter, the charming kitten, was adopted by his forever family! Little Nessa, from the Kitten room, stole the hearts of a family at first glance! Smokey, the senior cat, went home with a devoted volunteer who adored her! It has been a remarkable week for kittens, seniors, and all the cats in between! 🩵🩷❤️😻

Our Story

Kitty Queen Cat Rescue is a 501c3 rescue organization dedicated to helping homeless, abandoned, and unwanted cats and kittens. We have opened an incredible Cat Lounge (our version of a cat cafe) between Kennedy Twp & Robinson Twp, not far from downtown Pittsburgh and the International Airport. We would love to have you come visit our rescue kitties! Whether you just want to hang out with some awesome cats or you are looking for a new addition to your fur-family, we’re excited to have you!

We host great events, too! Stop by for yoga with cats, mew-vie nights, crafts with cats, wine & whisker events, and a ton of other fun & exciting activities.

We are a 501(c)3 non profit rescue organization. All of the donations from caring cat lovers like your are tax deductible! Our Federal EIN is 82-2305983. We operate solely based on donations from loyal cat lovers and the hard work of incredible volunteers.

Looking for a cat or kitten that needs a loving home? We're the area's best match-makers! Every feline that is available for adoption through Kitty Queen Cat Rescue is tested for FIV/FELV, has age appropriate vaccines, is spayed or neutered, and is microchipped for safety. Each potential adopter will be pre-screened and must fill out an application before being approved to choose one of our beautiful little cats.
