Meet Reem! Originally from Syria, Reem moved to the US 8 years ago. First to Detroit and then to here, where she attends the University of Pittsburgh! She lives in Millville with her husband in their dog-friendly home. The spacious home and big backyard are perfect for when she boards pets at her house. When not working Reem loves to hike, camp, read books and write. Head to the link in our bio for more on her!
Everyone meet Tim! He started with DPD 4 years ago part-time and for the past two years has been full-time. In addition to walks, Tim also does overnight stays with the pets in their home. He mainly services the downtown area. When not working he enjoys staying active and exercising. To hear Tim's number one tip for walking your pet downtown head to the link in our bio!
Meet Ciara who has been with DPD for over 3 years! Throughout her 10 years in animal care, she has worked in shelters, dog daycare facilities, and even horse stables. You can find her walking dogs all over Lawrenceville and Bloomfield. If you board your pet with Ciara, they will always have a buddy to play with and that would be her dog Bishop, a super friendly pit bull mix. To hear more from Ciara head to the link in our bio!
Meet Gabby! She is new to the area having just moved from Lewisburg, PA almost three months ago. She loves DPD for many reasons, but mainly because of all the cool people she's been able to meet through dog walking and sitting. Gabby is a cat person and enjoys meeting them and figuring out their different temperaments. Click the link in our bio to hear more from Gabby!
Next up is Alex! She grew up in Lancaster, PA and before she made the jump into the world of pet care, she was in the health care industry. Be sure to congratulate her on her engagement and the upcoming wedding that she is planning for next year! In addition to being a dog walker, she is also a sitter and loves spending time with the pets. When not working she can be found with her two cats and playing board games with friends. Matt is relatively newer to the DPD team but certainly not new to animal care. He comes to us from a local doggy daycare company where he was the manager. In addition to being a walker, he is also a pet sitter, so if you're looking for someone to hang out with your pup, he's your guy! Everyone say hello to Jen! Chances are you already have since she's been with DPD for five years! You can find Jen walking around Shadyside and Squirrel Hill enjoying her time with the dogs, her favorite part of the job. Not only is she a walker, but a pet sitter as well. She welcomes the dogs into her home when their paw-rents are away. She recommends DPD for our professionalism, experience, and safety - you can take her word for it since she is a client as well! Here is a face you may be familiar with - our Operations Manager Lindsay! Lindsay started with DPD as a dog walker and sitter back in 2015 and was promoted in 2020. She runs the daily communication with clients and keeps the business running smoothly. When she's not working you can find her spending time with her two cats and new pup Miso! Happy New Year from Downtown Pittsburgh Dogs! To kick off the new year we want to introduce you to our all-star team. Kicking things off is founder and owner Kevin Schriver. Kevin started DPD back in 2012. When he's not running the business, he can be found spending time with his wife Lisa, daughter Elaina, and three dogs - Chase, Bentley, and Cooper.
