Sit Means Sit has revolutionized how we train dogs across the United States for 10 years. The Pittsburgh location brings a level of successful, proven training techniques, activities and enthusiasm to dog owners in the greater Pittsburgh area. Whether you have a young puppy or just adopted a dog from a local shelter - we can help you lay the foundation for a happy, confident and obedient dog.

We offer puppy classes, private lessons and our most popular immersion style program, the Day Train. Let us do what we are good at (training dogs and teaching you) and then you get to have fun reinforcing things at home. Puppies under six months can come to class without a prior consultation. Dogs six months and older will first be evaluated to determine which of our programs will best meet your immediate needs and longer-term goals.
