Meet Sweets! This sweet girl showed up at an adopter’s home and they cared for her until we could take her. She was already spayed so likely she was someone’s pet at some point but had been on her own for a few months at the least. She’s enjoying toys and being inside and safe. We think she is around 2 years old.

Jimmy is finally ready for his new home!! He was underweight when he and his sisters went to be vetted and then we had some scheduling conflicts but he’s finally ready! With his sisters all getting adopted quickly he was lonely. We introduced Buttercup and they have been inseparable since! They are both extremely affectionate with people and with each other. They love playing and wrestling. We would love to see them adopted together.

Before last week’s temperatures dropped we took in these two sisters. Born in July they have never lived indoors but are now enjoying cat beds and learning to play with toys. Darcy is a long hair orange female and Greer is a long hair calico. It would be great to see them in a forever home together but not required.

It’s so hard to believe that Palmer has not been adopted!! She was found on a golf course with her kittens and she was an excellent mom!! Her kittens all found great homes and now it’s Palmer’s turn!!

We recently welcomed Nate, a 2 year old buff and white tabby. Nate was found by a local colony feeder, he was living on the top floor of an abandoned house. Thankfully she got him before the cold weather hit and he’s just enjoying being cared for!!

“Before I even got Jack out of the car in my parking spot, he was purring! He wasted no time coming out of his crate and exploring my apartment. He got comfortable so fast, taking naps on my lap, beginning to eat within a half hour of being here.
Since then, he’s been growing fast. He knows what time I need to get up in the morning and he loves to help me cook. He’s always ready to play!

Jack and I quickly became best buddies, and I look forward to watching him grow into a full-grown cat! Love this little guy! B.J.”

This handsome guy is Gavin. He came from a very sad situation for both the humans and the animals and was luckily one of the first rescued. He was very timid at first and loud noises still scare him but he loves getting pets and attention. He also loves the company of other cats. We think he’s just around a year old.

On Thanksgiving evening, one of our former adopters found out about a young cat approaching people on a walking trail at a park. He got into his car, drove an hour and found her! She was obviously dumped there. She’s been completely vetted and is ready for a new home! Welcome Angel!!

Taz joined us recently and what a sweet guy! He’s not a year old yet but he’s extremely friendly and very playful! And he loves curling up on your lap!

A few weeks before Christmas our good friends from Homeless Cat asked if anyone could take in this sweetie so she would not have to be returned to a life outside. At first she hid, then she began to come out and watch at a distance. Now she’s coming for attention and loves getting pets and brushed. She’s playing with toys and loves the companionship of other cats. Watching her transformation has been so great! Welcome Halo!!

Dear Friends, we wanted to share with you a glance at our October Bingo fundraiser. It was highly successful, thanks to all of you who volunteered, participated and supported by attending. This is our signature fundraiser every year, so we invest a lot of time and effort into it, from the auction table (Amy), delectable baked goods (Jessica), all types of ticket sales (Audrey; Carolyn); venue selection (Norma and Dianne) and set up. A special recognition to Norma for being our organizer! So many to thank, you know who you are! Barb 😸😸😸
