Meet Eastwood!
Eastwood is a 1 year old boy who’s been through a lot already. He had a leg injury that required some major surgery, but he’s all healed up and ready to go! We’re just waiting for his fur to grow back from the surgery.
Even though Eastwood just got here today, he was immediately snuggling up in people’s laps and making biscuits. He’s a total cuddle bug! Eastwood seems just fine with other cats too. ❤️

Tomorrow and Monday, it will be a sorority house in here! For the first time I think ever, we have only female cats in the cat room. 👯‍♀️ Here are the leading ladies!:

🚨 Limited Space Warning! 🚨

We are down to 9 cats this weekend! This is a good problem because a bunch got adopted. ❤️ But it also means we are limiting the room to 6 visitors at a time so that the cats do not get overwhelmed. This means it is CRUCIAL for you to make a reservation if you plan on visiting this weekend!

If you don’t reserve a spot and just wander in, you may have to wait over an hour to get in! No, I’m not kidding! We do get that busy!

You can make a reservation on our website very easily, or give us a call.

Thank you for understanding! More kitties will be arriving Tuesday January 14th!

1220 adoptions! Colby + Tetrazzini, Mickey, and Ziggy all went home! We are extra excited about our pal Mickey, as it can be quite difficult to find homes for FIV+ cats even though they’re not difficult to care for! ❤️

Meet Baby! She is 1 year old, which is still a baby to me. Baby is a beautiful, petite, fluffy little gal who loves people! She will trot up to you from across the room and flop over, ready for pets. Baby is also playful and loves catnip toys. She’s just fine with other cats, but would probably be ok being a single cat too!

Meet Coolia Peppermint!
This 5 year old girl is a total velcro cat. She will follow you around meowing until you pet her, and the second you sit down she is hopping in your lap! Coolia will nuzzle all over your face and purr. She is just so cuddly and sweet. We think she’d do best as a single cat, but she’d be totally ok with another calm cat or two as well. As long as you dedicate lots of cuddle time to her, she’s happy!

Good news: a bunch of cats are getting adopted this weekend!
Bad news: we will be down to 6 cats by Sunday. 🙃

For the rest of the weekend, we’ll be limiting the room to 6 people at a time instead of 8 so that the cats aren’t overwhelmed and you still have fun.
Monday, January 6th, we’ll be closed to get the room ready for our new kitty arrivals Tuesday!

It’s time for our 2024 wrap up!
We did 253 adoptions this year! 🎉
There were 13,400 cat room visits.
Ferngully broke our internet with 3,400 “likes” on her post.
And last but not least, there were at least 15 cat 💩 accidents in my car during kitty pickup days! It’s a labor of love, what can I say.

Thank you all for a wonderful 2024. ❤️ We’ll see you in 2025!

Updated hours: We’ve decided to be closed December 31st and January 1st. It’s been SO busy, the cats really need a break, and so do my hardworking employees for taking over while I’ve been sick!
We’ll see yinz January 2nd!

We’ve had a few folks ask about Katie and Thorne, our bonded mama and baby, so I wanted to give an update.

Thorne was feeling quite lethargic, so we took him (and Katie for moral support) to our partner rescue’s clinic. Thorne is currently getting treatment for FIP. Honestly, it’s a very long, tedious treatment and Thorne is still feeling extremely crappy to be quite frank. The staff at Frankie’s Friends is taking great care of him, and mama Katie has been right by his side helping too. We appreciate all prayers, good vibes, and healing thoughts towards this little guy. I love all the cats so very much, but Thorne and Katie have held a special place in my heart since they arrived.

I know things are tight after the holidays, but if you feel inclined to donate to Frankie's Friends Cat Rescue to help them cover his care (and ALL their cats’ care), that would be amazing. FIP treatment, along with a lot of the surgeries and treatment they do there are NOT cheap, but they do everything they can to save even the smallest little guy.
