Maybe this can help someone else with a case of mastitis in their lactating critters.
A couple days ago, one of our cows came up with mastitis. (Pictures in sequence, 2x a day milking, from first day to 3rd day all cleared up!) Normally we'd use a treatment called Today. It's a medicine you put into the teat canal. Now that you can only buy it from a vet, not available otc anymore, it can take a week or more to aquire. So y'all know me and my natural alternatives! This was 9ml of olive oil w/ 15 drops of oregano essential oil. Used a disinfected Today syring to infused the oil mixture into the teat. Voilà all cleared up!!!! Hope this helps someone else 🙏
