I just want to give another shout out to my wonderful neighbor Braden, who always comes over and makes a trail for us with the snowmobile to make our walks much easier. He is always happy to help. Make sure that the field stays mowed down in the summer and makes trails that make it way easier for me to walk in the winter. He is just another piece that helps make River Run successful and I am grateful to have amazing neighbors!

Hand walking dogs so they get personal interaction every day was part of my business model. This morning I am rethinking my life choices -11 is for the birds. Thankful for Dean who always jumps into help when even the shepherds just want a short walk you know it’s cold.

We will be going up to help where we can. If anyone else is able to help it is such a great cause. If not maybe donate to help the work get done?

OK people - I am in need of some HELP in working on the kennel building.

As you will have seen the Omani 12 are all doubled in - this was done so that they are only taking up 6 kennels instead of 12 kennels.

We have TEN kennels empty but they are in need of work BEFORE I get more dogs.

We have the ability to take some dogs from Texas that would arrive on 14th February - our 14th anniversary - just 2 weeks away!!

This is what is needed.....

Plywood around all of the walls, down by the sides of the doors, right up to the ceiling - this will go over the drywall. This needs to be done around 10 kennels.

CONCRETE pouring about 2" in each of the INSIDE kennels which are about 4'x5' with a slight slope towards the door. This needs to be done in 9 kennels. I do have an ELECTRIC Mixer

Dog Doors taking OUT and the hole that they will leave in the door needs to be edged out - so the dogs can still go through, no sharp edges and nothing to chew. This needs to be done on all 16 doors.

If anyone can help, during the day, evenings and or weekends please let me know - if you have a "handy-man" husband, boyfriend, brother, relative, friend, boss, neighbor reach out and ask them if they will help. They would literally be a part in SAVING LIVES dogs are getting killed at high rates every day - things in the south are not good at all and all the natural disasters just makes things worse.

PLEASE - - - ONLY people who know what they are doing, I do not want any "botched" jobs - I am spending a LOT of money to get this done right so I don't have to worry about it again for a long time.

I need commitment ASAP if anyone can help and need to know what they can help with and when they can help.

I am still on ZOMBIE mode, as I have not come close to catching up on sleep, so need to be able to plan things around when people are able to come and help.
