🌿 **New Arrival: American Giant Millipedes!** 🐛
Now available at **The Pet Zone** – these gentle giants are a must-see for any exotic pet enthusiast!

🌀 **Fun Facts:**

* American Giant Millipedes can grow up to **5 inches long** and live **up to 10 years** with proper care!
* Despite the name, they don’t actually have 1,000 legs – but they *do* have hundreds!
* They're **detritivores**, meaning they help clean the environment by eating decaying plant matter.

🪴 **Care Basics:**

* **Habitat:** Moist, warm enclosure with lots of hiding spots and deep substrate for burrowing
* **Diet:** Leaf litter, decaying wood, fruits, and veggies
* **Handling:** Calm and slow-moving, they can be gently handled but should never be dropped or squeezed
* **Humidity:** Keep it high! Mist regularly to maintain proper moisture levels

As The Pet Zone continues to grow, we're looking for **motivated and driven individuals** to join our amazing team! If you're passionate about animals, love a fast-paced environment, and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty—this could be the perfect fit for you!

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

🔹 **Animal Care Specialist / Customer Service (Full-Time)**
Help care for a wide variety of animals including snakes, lizards, birds, small mammals, arachnids, and more. This is a hands-on role with daily cleaning and feeding responsibilities.
**Requirements:**
• Must be comfortable handling all types of animals
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation
• Available 40 hrs/week, including weekends
• Strong knowledge of animals to assist customers
• Excellent grammar & verbal communication
• Customer service experience required
• Must be 18+ and able to pass a pre-hire drug screening
• Must be on your feet for 8 hours a day
• Attention to detail and cleanliness is a must
Pay based on experience

🔹 **Rodent Caretaker (Part-Time)**
A key role for the care and management of our feeder rodents.
**Requirements:**
• Comfortable handling mice and rats
• Duties include feeding, watering, cleaning, and sorting
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have reliable transportation
• Available 3 days/week and as needed
• Must be 16+ and able to pass a pre-hire drug screening
