We are looking for volunteers to come and help with the cats at our Bridgewater Petsmart location. Over 18 yrs old, willing to help at least twice a month, able to help at adoption events from time to time, a.m. shifts are needed more than p.m. shifts.

Our Superbowl pool fundraiser was an enormous success! We are contemplating running another pool fundraiser, March Madness, the championship game. Exact same way as the Superbowl. The question is will there be enough people willing to participate.

WE DID IT!! We sold out both our pool sheets. It is money the rescue really needs to pay for food, vetting, litter, spay clinics. We thank all of you! We will post both the video of our dogs picking the numbers as well as the finished sheet with your names and box #.

Around 2021 DJ (formerly Maple) was adopted. Fast forward to October 2023. DJ escaped the house when his dad walked in the door. It was the first time he did that. His dad immediately notified the rescue. We set up traps, his dad set up trail cams, slept downstairs with the door ajar, notified the microchip company,, posted posters,, No luck trapping but thankfully, he was spotted at a neighbor's yard. Around January his dad lost sight of him. His dad was heartbroken. He came back to return the traps we lent him. We asked DJ's dad if he is still posting about his beloved cat. He didn't. We advised him to post on local pages and put posters up again. Within a week he got a tip that his cat has been hanging out at a homeowners back yard for the last month +. Plans were put in motion, and at last, 5 months after DJ ran away he was trapped and reunited!! It was incredible!! DJ has since showed no desire to run away again. Not only that, DJ became a mush! He can't get enough of his dad.

Please never give up on your cat! Keep posting, keep your pet's name and photo circulated. You may be as lucky as DJ and his dad.

Meet Amber, appx 4 months old. This little girl was found at a feeding station by the feeder. She showed up seeking help. She looked frozen and her foot showed signs of frostbite.
She's very sweet and purring away. She's a little underweight and has lice but that is being taken care of.
The vet saw her and thankfully we believe her foot doesn't need amputation. Let's send some good vibes her way. When she heals she will be vetted and up for adoption.
