Anyone need sweet pea for the holidays? nothing better than some bulldog love from Southern California Bulldog Rescue to cure any holiday blues

No one wants this honor, but Sweet Pea just marked her 'one year' in rescue without anyone wanting to meet her for adoption.

Don't get us wrong that isn't loved and cared for, but being loved in a home of her own is better than traveling between foster homes and kennels to only stay a little while.

It was just about a year ago now Sweet Pea was rescued from a horrible shelter situation and the interest in her faded as time when one as she had major medical needed to be completed - which is all done now. She also let us know that she likes to be the alpha dog and most likely the only pet in a home. The clock continues to click for Sweet Pea and she's not getting any younger.

Help share this and find her a home. Approved adopters are asked to give her a second look at an adoptable pet and meet her in person this weekend, October 26, 2025 in Orange County,

We're still selling raffle tickets! We've gotten a 'lot of sick bulldogs' in that have been left at shelters, abandoned at vet offices and given up by owners in some of the most deplorable conditions.

Help us raise funds with sharing our raffles, auctions and attending what fund raisers you can and are of interest to you too!

This will be quick as we have some lot of new Bulldogs and medical bills to pay this past month! Raffle tickets only sold October 2 to October 6, 2024.

Fall is in the air and get ready for our October.1, 2024 raffle of a pieced tee-shirt shirt quilt made by Bulldogger Val Tellez Valljeo for Southern California Bulldog Rescue.

This is called a 'piecing tee-shirt quilt', not an average tee quilt top. It is made of 20 individual cut into 12" x 12" tee-squares from vintage T-shirts organized out in a 4 x 5 square design.

The finished size is approximately 56" x 69", sewn through so the solid quilting is secured and holds to backing.

The backing is a solid pattern. It includes a tag noting Val as the maker and history of the piece.

Raffle tickets are $10 each. 6 for $50.
