Another huge loss.
This man brought greatness to the horse training world. I was honored to meet him at Western States Horse Expo and was also so excited to see him there! Common sense no fancy BS.
RIP Mr Avila.
Avila set the standard for equine training videos and created a booming business for himself in the horse show world.

When we become horse owners, the role of trainer becomes our responsibility. Every minute we spend with our horse is a training session. They do not differentiate between activities. They see everything we do and are constantly reading our bodies and responding accordingly. Quiet, patient, firm but fair communication is like magic. My goal is for all horse owners to “take the reins” and become the leader their horse wants and needs. To help us understand the counterintuitive relationships we develop with our animals.
