We have boarding available!!! I thought posting here may be easiest- we have some long awaited openings available for boarding at the barn with our new contructed stalls. (Whoo hoo!!) We currently have 3 stall openings. Here is some info and pricing for those interested!

We have a few options for boarding with current pricing as follows (per month):

$300 shared/herd setting outdoor dry lot corral with 24/7 bales w/slow feed nets and shelters.
$375 for self clean stall (owner of horse is in charge of their own stall cleaning and daily turn out when horses aren't out on seasonal grass pasture)
$475 full care- we clean the stall 5-6 days a week and do turnout for the horse as well :)

All options include tack/trailer storage, us providing and feeding hay and all the amenities/arena use for our barn! 😊

Quick run down- we have 2 outdoor arenas(one is 100x200 and the other is 75x120) and a smaller indoor and 40ft round pen. Stalls are large and open air- 12x28 and all have mats/shavings. Auto waters for both stalls and corrals. shelters in all corrals. Private Tack locker or space in locked tack room for equipment/tack storage. Trailer parking included. Indoor is heated, has lights, garage doors and a misting system. We have lights coming in for both outdoor arenas as well! We just need to put them up :) We have 4 large green pastures we rotate herds on May-October and have arenas and dry lot areas for turnout in the off seasons or when horses are stalled 😊 we have alfalfa, grass and mixed bale options for hay as well as cubes to pretty much customize feed to each horse. We have slow feed nets in both corrals and stalls and horses have food most all day long with them! We also feed by weight/body condition and not by "amount" :)

We are a low key, family friendly barn environment and are always pleased to be a happy place for people and their horses! I'm always happy to accommodate to help everyone meet their needs 😊

☀️ Happy Summer!!!! ☀️

We are only a couple weeks away from our summer camp this year!! With Stevie having her second baby a couple weeks ago, this summer has been a little slower here at the barn. That being said, we still decided to do one summer camp this year!! 🙌

Please see the attached flyer for info! We have some brand NEW material, activities and fun in store this year! So, for those who have never been to one of our camps and for our returning campers, we will have something new and exciting for everyone!

🦄Our last camp of the summer is next week! We had 2 last minute spots open up. Send Stevie a message if you're interested in snagging an open spot. The camp was full, so we wanted to make sure everyone knew and has an opportunity to sign up still! 😊 it will be a blast!

For those with younger kid's, we are going to have one group in this camp for younger kid's and 2 groups with our teens. So don't hesitate to ask even if you have kiddos younger than 12 😊

🌞IT'S CAMP SEASON AGAIN!!!! 🌞

We are doing things a bit different this year and I think it will be a lot of fun for everyone! We are doing two, 3 day camps this summer- one for ages 5-11 and another for ages 12-18. Beginner and advanced riders welcome in BOTH camps as we are splitting the kids up into riding experience groups within each camp 😊 so no matter what your age and experience level is, we have a perfect spot for you! We can be a bit flexible on ages as well if you can't make your age group's camp date. Please talk to Stevie with any questions! We will have lots of riding, crafts, games, activities and learning this year and are 💫super💫 excited for more age tailored activities for both our younger and older riders! 😊

🐎The date for the younger kid's camp (ages 5-11) is June 13-15th.

🐎The date for the teenager camp (ages 12-18) is August 2nd-4th.

⏰️Times for each camp are 9am-3pm on the 1st and 3rd days and 3pm-9pm on the second day of camp. Second day of each camp is a movie/game night at the barn!

💵Cost is $325.
Each camp is limited to 18 riders- please reserve your spot ASAP by getting in touch with Stevie or the Blue Grass Estate page! The spots fill fast!
🍦Food, snacks, drinks, water bottle, t-shirt, binder, all crafts and pictures, etc are all included! We have a show on the last day and have ribbons and prizes for that too! :) we also provide sunscreen, wet bandanas and have an indoor arena with misters and fans to cool down and get out of the sun ⛱️ shhhh... don't tell anyone- but we may have an epic water war with the instructors in store too! 🌊

🏆We are getting SO excited about our first student horse show at our barn Saturday May 6th!! 🏆

Our students have picked 3 events over the last few months that they have all wanted to work on and improve. It's now time to show off their skills!!!

‼️This is a reminder that Registration is due THIS Saturday April 29th!!!‼️

🌞Registration for the show (all 3 chosen events, horse and tack rental and instructor help) is $20. Registration fee needs to be turned in along with registration form no later than April 29th to Stevie. You can print the form, fill out and send a picture via text or turn in a physical copy to your instructor at the barn. There will also be copies of form available in the barn. Registration fee can be paid via PayPal, venmo, cash or check.

Once I have a confirmed number of entries after April 29th, I will create class schedules and assign horses for the show to all our students! On the form, please have your student pick their top 3 horses and they will get one of the 3 for the show. I'll send the show schedule out as soon as I have it created so you will have a ballpark idea of the times of each of your events and we'll know approximately how long each class will last.

We will have concessions🍿 and some barn merch (t shirts, etc)👕 for purchase at the show as well!

We will have prizes🏅 for the top 6 in each division. As well as ribbons🎗for the top 6 in each class! We are splitting our students into 4 divisions: 🦄Leadline (any age, but beginner riding experience/needs an instructor to help lead), 🐴Juniors (ages 4-11), 🐴seniors (ages 12-18) and 🐎adults(18+)! They will earn points for each event they do and we will combine points from all 3 of the student's events to determine placings at the end of the show! And those points will go toward the year end prizes and awards after all 3 of our shows this year.

💥We are planning 2 other student shows this year. One in July and one in October. Tentative dates are July 8th and October 21st. I'm hoping this will be lots of fun for all our students and they can show off all their hard work! Thank you so much for supporting our barn and riding program!!

As a side note- this show is completely optional and is meant to be fun! So no stress if you can't make it or your student doesn't have the desire to compete.

💥WE HAVE BARN MERCH!!!💥I wanted to share our first order of branded Blue Grass Estate products!!!🐴 We are super excited to share our love of the barn with anyone and everyone!

💥UPDATE ON RESCHEDULE 💥 We've got Barn clean up day and BBQ🍔 rescheduled to this coming Saturday Nov. 12th!! We are going to start clean up at 1pm and then BBQ at 4pm. Since it's cold, we will be setting up BBQ in the indoor arena and will have the heater on :) so it should still be fun! BBQ is potluck- bring a side dish, desert or drink! 🧁
For clean up, our goal is to get the stalls and mats refreshed/replaced and in order for winter time and do some general barn and arena equipment clean up and touch ups. We can use all the help we can get!! Thank you so much! We're excited to see everyone who can make it!! 😊🐴

Cookie the pony hopes everyone had a great Halloween this year!!! 🎃 We had so much fun playing Halloween games and obstacle courses with all our students this week in lessons. Everyone who completed their games in their lesson got to add a face to help decorate our pumpkins and go "trick or treating" for some candy!! 🧡🖤 we have the best horses, instructors, students, parents and boarders!

Blue Grass Estates is very excited to announce our 2022 summer camp dates!!! Each Camp will be split into 3 groups based on age and experience level- beginner, intermediate and advanced. This way, we can customize the activities, riding, and crafts to each age and skill level group to best suit all our campers for all the camp dates. We had so much fun last year, all our instructors and camp leaders can't wait for July and August! We will be having a horse show and family lunch the last day of camp and a special big screen movie night in the barn the second night! 💥Summer Horse Camps💥
Blue Grass Estate is proud to announce our summer camp dates! 🐴 If you know a horse crazy kid- get them signed up!! We are going to have a blast! Camp dates are 🔴July 15th, 16th, 17th and 🟠August 5th, 6th, 7th. Both camps are Thursday-Saturday. We will be holding our camp horse shows on Saturday where the kids will earn ribbons and prizes! 🏆
We will also be having a movie night🎬 in the barn the Friday evening of each camp and have lots of fun activities, crafts and riding planned! Each participant will also have a summer camp t-shirt 👕, personalized water bottle💦 and crafts to bring home.

I am a horse that isn’t as recognized as the top hunter jumpers, the best western pleasure horse, or the 1D barrel horse, I am a lesson horse. I am the backbone of the foundation to do all of those things. I am a lesson horse.
I am not loved by one person. I am loved by several people. I don’t have my person, I have my people. I am a lesson horse.
I will teach your child and yourself more than just to ride. I will bring your child out of their shell. I will teach your child about life. I will be yours and their shoulder to cry on. I am a lesson horse.
I will bring my family the joy of teaching kids. I will bring my families business growth. I am so loved by my family, even if they don’t express it everyday. My family allows others to show me love and enjoy me. I am a lesson horse.
At the end of your childs’ journey on a lesson horse, they will out grow me. They will find one that jumps higher, a horse that is show quality, a horse much faster than me. But, I will never outgrow being a lesson horse. I will be the one that loved your child and helped your child grow into the rider and person they are. I am a lesson horse.
At the end of my time as a lesson horse; I will be covered in grey hair. Each grey hair came from each hour I spent as a lesson horse. I will be in a field of green grass, I will be taken care of as I was when I was a lesson horse. I will watch your child from across the pasture love her new horse. But, I will love your child more than any horse can. I will be the backbone of the business, the family, and your child. Don’t forget about me, I am a lesson horse.
