This is a courtesy post to find a home for sweet Toby. He is about 1.5 years old, has been vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, and is neutered.

Toby is located outside of chillicothe, Ohio, but his current caregiver is willing to drive him to Columbus to get him a good home. She is unsure how he is with other cats, but he did great with her smaller dachshund. She is unsure about big dogs. Her kids torment him, so he doesn't like children under the age of 5, but she thinks he would be okay with kids who were kind and gentle.

His left eye is not missing. The caregiver said she can even see it in sync with his right eye. But the vet said it isn't effecting his quality of life and wouldn't recommend removing it.

If you would like to know more about Toby or request an adoption application, please email us at [email protected]

He is only being rehomed, because the kids are mean to him.

My name is Vance. I was roaming a Hilliard neighborhood in late Fall. It's no fun being abandoned, but I would show up at this one house and find dinner waiting for me. In January just before it got really cold and snowy, they took me inside and gave me my own room. I slept for 3 days. I am a dark brown/black tabby, male, est 1-1/2 to 2 years old. I went to the vet and have been neutered and vaccinated. There are plenty of cats in this home already, so I would like a place of my own with someone who is patient and kind and will help me adjust to new surroundings. I'm doing a better job of trusting people than I used to and I welcome her when she opens the door. I don't think I'm ready for children and I don't know what to expect with dogs. If you have a safe, warm and cozy barn and give me yummy food, water and TLC, that would be ok too.

The City of London is proud to partner with the Cat Welfare Association and Sunnyside Veterinary Clinic to offer a feral cat trap-spay/neuter-return program. This program is only for feral cats. A feral cat is not socialized to humans, cannot be handled, and is not simply an "outdoor cat". If you ar...

This gentle giant (and yes, he is a big boy) is a gorgeous orange male kitty named Donald.

The Big D showed up at a good sam's house some time last year. The family took him to get neutered and up to date on everything. He tested positive for FIV.

Being FIV positive is not a death sentence and cats can live very long lives with the virus. They just need to live inside and be given regular vet care. They can also live with negative cats as the virus is really only passed by deep bite wounds from fighting. Neutered male cats are not going to fight, so there is very little risk.

https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv

Donald's one eye appears to have been injured at some point, but he can see out of both eyes. This sweet boy was definitely a “pet” at one time, as he is extremely affectionate and wants to be right with you.

He’s a big, solid boy- 23 pounds and about 3-4 years old.

He is a gentleman and has great manners. He crawled right into the carrier to go to the vet. He uses the litter box like a champ.

Donald is being fostered in Plain City, OH.

If you would like to know more about Donald or to request an adoption application, please email Black and Orange Cat Foundation at [email protected]

Penny is a sweet girl who is looking for her forever family. Here is what Penny’s foster mom has to say about her:

Penny is about a year old and is currently fostered with four adult cats and an 11 month old retriever mix that is cat friendly.

She’s very playful and loving. She loves to be petted and will follow you around chirping at you to get you to bend over and pet her. She’s also very good and treat motivated. Not much of a lap cat yet although she has to compete with my retriever puppy for my lap.

I think she would do best in a home with older children because she can get a little rough at times when she plays. She loves watching the birds outside the window and is very social when I have friends over.

Penny is spayed and up-to-date on all vet care.

If you would like to find out more about Penny or to request an adoption application, please email us at [email protected]

🐾 Meet Eddie! 🐾
Eddie is a 6-year-old male cat with a heart full of love and an adorable personality. He’s playful, affectionate, and adores his toys. Eddie enjoys the company of other cats but isn’t fond of dogs. He has a special love for high perches, so if you are looking for him probably hanging out on a cat tree. This gentle soul thrives in a calm and peaceful environment, and he would do best in a home with older children who understand his need for space and quiet affection. Eddie is FIV-positive, which means he needs a little extra care, but don’t worry—he can still lead a long, healthy, and happy life with the right attention and love. Eddie was surrendered to the shelter due to his previous owner’s lack of time, and now he’s looking for a loving forever home. Could you be the one to give Eddie the second chance he truly deserves? 🏡💕

This is a courtesy post for the Humane Association of Warren County in Lebanon, Ohio. Eddie is a sweet boy and came in with 2 other cats, He is 6 yrs old, neutered and very loving. He is also FIV positive. His roommates were not.

Eddie is FIV positive, but cats can live a very long time with this virus. They can also live with non-positive kitties as the virus is only spread through very deep bite wounds and Eddie is not going to fight with anyone.

A friend is looking to find a happy, inside only home for a stray who showed up at her house this past year. Spike, aka Black and White kitty, has been a porch kitty for several months, but now wants an inside home where he can chill and be warm all the time.

Spike is neutered (and eartipped), FIV/FLV tested (negative) and had his shots (boosters in 3 weeks). The vet thought he was about 5-6 years old. He has a healthy coat, no ear mites.

Spike is very sweet and snuggly, but he really doesn’t get along with the family's other male cat. He would probably be best as an only cat or with a very laidback female cat.

He loves people and is a huge love bug who likes snuggles on the couch. He is a lap kitty and would like nothing better than to hang out with you all day.

If you would like to find out more about Spike or receive an adoption application, please email us at [email protected]
