This is a courtesy post for a lady in Marysville, OH whose living situation has changed and she can no longer have a cat.

Lady is a rare female orange tabby. Most orange tabbies are male.

Lady is 3-years-old. She was spayed in July of 2023, but would need vaccines updated when adopted.

Her current owner says that she is "beyond sweet". She loves other cats and shockingly loves dogs. She would definitely thrive in a home with other animals.

If you are interested in adopting Lady and have a cat friendly dog or another cat needing a friend, please email Black and Orange Cat Foundation at [email protected] for an application. Once we have your application back, we will put you in contact with Lady's owner.

Yoshi is one of several kittens that were rescued from a farm where three female cats had three litters of kittens within a few weeks of each other. Yoshi is from the first litter born near the end of April. He is about 3 and 1/2 months old.

Yoshi is a mitten paw kitty (polydactyl/extra toes/Hemingway kitty) and has medium hair. He is very sweet and has been around dogs and other cats. He loves to play and is really enjoying foster care where he is spoiled and has plenty to eat.

Yoshi has been tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV, dewormed, and received his first vaccines. He will be neutered at the end of August.

If you are interested in adopting Yoshi, please email us at [email protected]

Please consider this sweet girl. Arwen has been overlooked and she really needs a home with a friend she can play with. The older male cats in foster care with her do not want this pipsqueak disturbing their retirement home afternoons sleeping in the sun. She wants to play and they say, no way. She needs a younger buddy.

Miss Arwen is named after the Elven Queen from Lord of the Rings. And she is definitely an ethereal, multi-dimensional feline who just happened to appear in the back yard of one of our board members. Slipping out of the woods on little soft padded paws, Arwen came each day looking for food during the winter before finally allowing herself to be captured on Christmas Eve so she could have a better life.

Arwen hasn't drawn enough attention to her magical self, but she really deserves a loving home. She is living with a bunch of geriatric old men cats who do not want to play and get offended when she tries to chase them or jump out for a game of wrestle mania. They want none of her antics. So, she really needs a friend who is younger and who does want to play and not just sleep.

When Arwen went to the vet, she was already spayed, but had not been ear-tipped to allow us to know that. We did ear-tip her, but she was so friendly that we knew she needed an inside home and did not really want to be frolicking in nature any longer--especially not with the coyotes in the woods.

Arwen has been vaccinated, tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV, microchipped, dewormed, and treated preventatively for fleas/ticks. She is about 2-years-old and is good with other cats.

Arwen loves to be petted. She is a huge purr bug and purrs up a storm, butting you with her head to get more attention. She does not really like to be picked up, but she will sit beside you looking for love as long as you are willing to rub her head. She is a little shy at first, but as soon as she knows you, she comes running to see you and is all over you for pets and food.

If you would like to adopt this little elven girl who walks on her tippy-toes when she braids around your legs, please email Black and Orange Cat Foundation at [email protected] for an adoption application and more information.

Ray needs a friend!! If you have a cat that needs a buddy, Ray is the kitty for you and your cat. Ray's brother was recently adopted and he is very, very lonely! Help Ray recover from a broken heart and give him a new home and furry sibling.

Sweet little Ray was living in a drainage ditch and had to be pulled out from under a heavy metal grate during a trapping project for feral cats at a local senior center. The little guy quickly adapted to foster life and turned into a purring, loving Ray of sunshine.

Ray loves other cats and, since his brother was recently adopted, he is feeling very lonely and needs another cat to cuddle with and chase through the house.

Ray has been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV, dewormed, microchipped, and treated preventatively for fleas/ticks.

Ray is about 12 weeks old.

Ray is good with other cats, respectful children, and could be easily introduced to dogs. He is a sweet little lap kitty who likes to play, but also just wants lots of love.

If you would like to learn more about Ray or receive an adoption application, please email us at [email protected]

This is a courtesy post to find a home for sweet Toby. He is about 1.5 years old, has been vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, and is neutered.

Toby is located outside of chillicothe, Ohio, but his current caregiver is willing to drive him to Columbus to get him a good home. She is unsure how he is with other cats, but he did great with her smaller dachshund. She is unsure about big dogs. Her kids torment him, so he doesn't like children under the age of 5, but she thinks he would be okay with kids who were kind and gentle.

His left eye is not missing. The caregiver said she can even see it in sync with his right eye. But the vet said it isn't effecting his quality of life and wouldn't recommend removing it.

If you would like to know more about Toby or request an adoption application, please email us at [email protected]

He is only being rehomed, because the kids are mean to him.
