Sampson, Delilah, Mulan aka “Mumu.” This girl has had many titles in each chapter of her life so far. We are hoping to find a name for the next chapter that will stay with her forever🐾 Our pretty girl is finally ready to find a family. She is cat friendly & cat savvy dog friendly. She might start shy but then she loves her people like only a sensitive heart can. She loves completely♥️🐾Delilah is likely around 9-10 months old now. She came to us when she was maybe 6 months old after a kind human noticed her stray on the street & not in the greatest shape. We actually guessed her at only 3 months at the time due to how small she was. She quickly broke with a respiratory infection that we had doubts she would survive. Thanks to our amazing foster ensuring she was getting her medicine & around the clock nebulizer treatments, she improved. Then she thrived & her foster gave her her rightly earned new name🐾 In this chapter, she is called Mulan because she is a strong warrior that just wants a family & go home🐾 If you would like to meet our girl, you can find an application at renkorescue.org 🐾

Dallas is still looking for a family to call his own🐾💜🐾This boy is just barely over a year old. He had a hard start in life but he holds no grudges & will show you all the love. Being young he’s got some energy but a few runs around a yard or a good walk & sniffs, he’s ready to binge some movies & maybe share your popcorn🍿He has interacted with multiple dogs & has done well with proper introductions🐶No cats. He did improve being around one while at his vacation foster but we think it’s a trap & don’t believe him. So we are sticking to no cats & no free roaming small critters either🐾 He is crate trained, potty trained & vetted. His adoption fee is $350. We are going to post Dallas a lot until we find him the most amazing family!! He is such a sweet pup. The reality, hes a bully breed, he’s adult size & his coloring is not a fancy brindle or anything like that. We think he’s perfect & so handsome but we are aware this is not the type of dog that people knock our doors down for (those people are wrong though lol)🐾This sweet boy deserves a fan club. Dallas had a rough start but he doesn’t hold any grudges. He loves people. He did good meeting other dogs. He’s barely at a year old & with that comes the puppy energy but then he will Netflix & chill with you 🐾 Dallas is a sensitive soul that gives as much love as he absorbs. ALOHA from sunny Hawaii! 🌴Let us introduce Taz & Dawson. Each year Leslie & her husband make a trip to Hawaii & work with local rescuers to spay, neuter & vaccinate local strays. Usually a few find their ways into suitcases to come back here to have a chance at a home. While Hawaii is beautiful, the local stray do not always get to live a beautiful life, especially in certain areas. This year due to the California fires, the majority of rescues & shelters they work with are struggling already. This brings us back to Taz & Dawson🐈 Taz is approximately 8 months old & a victim of being shot multiple times. As you can see, he lost one of his legs due to an irreperable injury from one of the bullets. But please don’t tell him, he has no idea & still runs, jumps & plays like he has all 4. There is a bullet still lodged in his chest but the only concern that is is if he will set off the metal detectors going thru airport security 😉 Dawson, 7 mos, followed a stranger home after being in an area known for dumping & all together unsafe for the cat population. While these two didn’t start as family, they have become family & we would like for them to stay together. Ohana is who you make it 🤷‍♀️🌸These two will be arriving next Sunday & will be ready to find their family & love. Deno is thrilled to say he found his forever Valentine because HE IS ADOPTED!!♥️ This little man came to us with a twist. He found himself at our animal control but stories aren’t always simple. It turns out there was an owner & they loved him very much but their situation had changed & they had no choices in this. It broke our hearts & we promised to take him in & do our best for him🐾 We are happy to say we kept our promise & Deno is now a neighbor of ours, adopted by friends of our friends & soaking up love💜 What started as a heart wrenching situation has turned into smiles & love in another family & the original owner knowing he is safe & loved. Happiest life Deno, we are honored to have been a part of your journey.

Dallas is officially looking for his soulmate!! 💜♥️This boy looks nothing like the skinny, neglected, stained boy with multiple injuries that came into animal control. His past was glaringly that of at the very least, neglect. Physically, he showed multiple signs of being kept in a too small cage & seemingly in his own excrement💔Even on day one with our friends at animal control, he was nothing but sweet to humans & animals. Nothing but love desoite whatever his past had held ♥️ We had a kind foster step forward & she has helped him with his gorgeous glow up!! 💜This boy is just over 1 year old & he deserves the most amazing rest of his life!!! Being essentially a puppy, he does have energy. He would do great with an active family that is looking for a 4 legged adventure partner. He is also going to climb into your lap to take a nap after that hike though. He’s the perfect balance💜This boy is potty trained & has done well with other dogs. **UPDATE*** We are not accepting any further applications on Bear at this time!!! We are fortunate to have received many great families applying 💜Thank you to everyone for sharing him & we will update you as he will hopefully be finding his home soon.

We do not understand how Bear is still looking for a family. We thought we would have to fight people off for him. This guy is only 3-4ish years old. He loves to love. He’s only 14 pounds. We all envy his luscious coat. Bear is potty trained, crate trained. He is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped & just had a dental with a couple extractions that were needed from some type of old head trauma that left no other issues than some broken teeth but that hasn’t stopped his constant smile!! 🦷 Bear gets along with other dogs & he recently had a sleep over with a cat in the house too & did great. This is the dog you can bring to stores or have lunch on a patio somewhere. Bear is the total package🐾 His adoption fee is $375. Introducing Jett💜 He is not available for adoption at this time & it will be several weeks before he will be available but we thought it would be fun that you can follow his journey. This little guy is likely only about 6 weeks old. He was found in a park by a garbage can & they were kind enough to bring him to our friends at animal control🐾 We have absolutely no clue what kind of dog he is. In fact, we are half certain we kidnapped a grizzly cub based off his growls & his plump physique🐻We do think he’s going to be a big boy eventually but we could also be wrong at this point🤷‍♀️ No matter what, he’s a riot & growls if you pass him up without picking him up💜 We are happy we were able to welcome him to the Renko family & that someone cared enough to help him.

URGENT!
Hospice Foster Needed ASAP ❤️

Mufasa is almost 6 months old and unfortunately he tested positive for FeLV. Looking for an immediate foster for 3 weeks and if able to foster longer, that would be fantastic. Have you been looking for a real life Teddy Bear?? Well, here he is!!! Bear was an unchipped stray brought into our friends at animal control & despite our certainty that a family would show up, they did not. Bear is all about the snuggles. He’s likely around 3 years old & all about the smiles🎂 He’s happy when he’s in the lap of his human. And we hope you like kisses. He’s good with all ages of humans & he likes to play but he’s a match the energy kind of guy & maybe more low key at heart💜 Bear can be with other dogs, he may take a day where he low key grumbles, like if he were a cranky old man, when they walk by but he has never been mean & after a day, they’ll be fast friends. He can also be solo & be fine🐾 Bear has sustained some sort of facial trauma at some point in his life & has caused his one canine tooth to have broken off. He is having a dental this week & the reminder of that tooth will be pulled to prevent any future complications from that. We are very behind on the good news but DHARMA IS ADOPTED!💜 This girl has been in her home for quite awhile now. In fact, she was always home💜 Dharma was one of the puppies that came to us after being found beside the road in a box by a Good Samaritan. She was with one other living sibling & one deceased. She was able to heal up with medical care & the love of her foster parents. The resident dog also quickly became a surrogate mom for the tiny ones, especially Dharma. Despite what she had endured, she took on the nickname of Velociraptor & happily left destruction in her curious & fearless wake🦖She & her brother had a love hate relarelationship so soon after Bodhi found his home, Dharma’s foster parents (and our dear friends) decided she was the crazy needed to complete the family!!! 💜 Happy life sweet girl, we love that we still get to see your mischievous self🥰🐾 #renkoanimalrescue #sweetpuppy #shesmostlysweetbutsometimessassy
