Producer Panel!!! We are so lucky to have a producer panel in the beef room on cow handling and facility design. We are fortunate to have 3 different types of handling facilities with different types of cattle. We are sure everyone will be able to take away some some useful tips from this excellent panel.

We certainly love 💕 calves !!! They are the future of your herd. On March 8th in the dairy 🐄 room come and learn about calf vaccines vs immunizing and in the beef room we will discuss colostrum and calf vigor…when to intervene.

Please help us welcome Dr. Nathan Laurence! Dr. Nathan joined the practice in June and is a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a third generation Veterinarian that grew up in West-Central Minnesota. His favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping animals achieve the highest potential. He is looking forward to exploring all of the outdoor activities the area has to offer.

Cowdocs or Chickdocs?

Even though it may not feel like it outside today, Spring is definitely in the air in our office with all the babies we have around here! Our lab technician, Nancy has been busy hatching all sorts chicks and ducklings.They are pretty entertaining!

Winter has definitely arrived and Mother Nature didn't let us ease into it this year! Everyone has a lot more layers on today then they did Friday morning when Dr. Borst was doing a preg check with the fans running and while wearing a T-shirt!

Renna McNallan, the September Farm Dog of the Month, enjoys checking the field corn every night after a good long run. Her technique is plucking the stalks off at the root, shucking the cob and testing the kernels, letting the farmer know when it is read for harvesting. All in a days work of a farm dog!
