Answer to the Question of the Month!
In this video, Dr. Thompson is evaluating sperm motility as part of a semen evaluation and breeding soundness exam on a bull. Any producer (beef or dairy) should consider having breeding soundness exams routinely done on their bulls to prevent open cows and lost profits. Feel free to contact our any of our veterinarians if your interested in having this service done on your farm! For more info on breeding soundness exams, check out the below link!

Merry Christmas from Dr. Borst!
Winter has definitely arrived and Mother Nature didn't let us ease into it this year! Everyone has a lot more layers on today then they did Friday morning when Dr. Borst was doing a preg check with the fans running and while wearing a T-shirt!
Renna McNallan, the September Farm Dog of the Month, enjoys checking the field corn every night after a good long run. Her technique is plucking the stalks off at the root, shucking the cob and testing the kernels, letting the farmer know when it is read for harvesting. All in a days work of a farm dog!
Dr. Borst's favorite cow, "Delta", recently stopped to say hi and get a quick scratch after milking. Who's your favorite cow at your farm?
Bath time! We still need names for our ducklings! Comment below with your name ideas!
