We've recently had the privilege to help Animal Safe Haven and Adoptions, Inc. of Maryland and test one of their suspected FeLV positive cats. It makes us so proud to help shelters and cat owners. Read their comments on our service!

We typically don't brag about our suppliers because they don't typically go above and beyond but we are extremely grateful and happy to have chosen CatDX.com for our company of choice to double-check Felv and FIV diagnosis.

Inigo Montoya (aka Bobo) initially tested Felv positive on first snap test. Negative on the following bone marrow blood test and then we needed to do a follow up test to confirm if it's in his bone marrow or not.

We contacted catdx.com and ask them if they do the bone marrow test we need done. They confirmed that they do indeed do the test and so we ordered one and waited for it to be delivered.

Unfortunately weeks went by and we still had not received delivery so we checked in with their customer service and they said if we don't get it by the end of the week they will send us a new package with 2-day delivery. That one we got ASAP.

We were able to collect the necessary blood and saliva samples and return the samples in the included prepaid package.

A few dates later... We just got off the phone with them. Unfortunately we had a severe mix up on our end and and we mistakenly requested and ordered FIV testing- which is not what was necessary.

(But at least we know for absolute certainty that he is FIV negative! 🤣🤦‍♀️)

So even though it was no fault of their own they offered to use the original samples they still have one hand to do the correct Felv test for Bobo.

They have gone above and beyond to help us help him and we couldn't be more grateful. So if you ever need a third-party testing or just want to do it at home we highly suggest using their services!!



No matter his results positive or negative he is available for adoption. Felv positive cats can live a long and healthy life with the right care and caring adopter. They typically don't require any excessive medications or vet visits.
