We had another awesome & educational day at Dead South Exotics, LLC! The Branch family decided to spend the afternoon learning about all the exciting and different genetic patterns and ways reptiles interact, live, and overall thrive in captivity as well as in the wild. We hope we have inspired two young minds to further their experiences and always will continue to share the love, understanding, and passion for our friends with scales, shells, and tails.

I think one of my favorite parts of running dead south is getting to educate my friends and their children from time to time. Allowing them to come by DSHQ and have a real encounter with a living dinosaur. The ability to see a young persons eyes light up when they meet lemmy or Sheldon for the first time and to explain why these are not scary and why to leave ones we find in the yard alone. Dead south has always been about my love for the critters who are just as cute and loveable as "normal" pets. I can't thunk of anything more rewarding than sharing that love with others. My hope is that by educating young people that I'll have a small influence on the next generation of herpers, snake enthusiasts, and breeders. Here in the south everyone is welcome but in the dead south everyone's family!

I know I'm late on these, but I has a special edition dead south sticker made for June. They came in today. Better late than never right? So to all my friends in the community these are for you. Look for me at repticon shows. Always remember that we in the dead south family love you all no matter what

Huge thanks to Animal Hospital of Towne Lake for allowing us to come be apart of their reptile education class. The staff got to handel a few of the snakes while chip an tortilla wandered around and made new friends. I'd also like to say thank you to my wonderful and supportive sister for everything she does. (She's a vet tech at this clinic)

Dead south has its first clutch of the year on the ground and safely in the incubator this big yellow belly girl came to me from two of my absolute favorite people in the hobby taylor and Anthony owners of Anthony Fleming Reptiles. She was actually paired by my friends Matt and meg. They did all the leg work im just cooking the eggs for them 😂 but she gave us 7 healthy eggs
