We have 30 appointments available still for male cats to get neutered. However we have filled all of our female slots. If you're interested in getting your male cat fixed, please read this post and follow the prompts to get signed up.
💲 Neuters are $50. Additional add-on services such as flea and tick meds, vaccines, microchipping, and snap tests (for heartworm, FIV, and FELV) will be available and can be paid for at check-in. However, your neuter appointment must be paid for at the time of scheduling.
🕖 Check-in is 7:00-8:30am and pick-up will be as your cats surgery is finished. All cats MUST be brought in a travel carrier or live trap—no homemade transport cages or cardboard boxes. One cat per carrier/trap. Carriers may be borrowed on a first come first serve basis with a $10 deposit that will be refunded when the carrier is returned.
🚫 If you fail to show up for your appointment for ANY reason, or are late to check in you will not be refunded. It's crucial to catch your cat days prior to ensure you can make the appointment. Missing your appointment means one less animal we can fix that day, which is an inconvenience for us—so again, you will not be refunded. Please plan accordingly.
❌ Please do not show up if we have not confirmed your appointment. There are limited slots and if you do not pay at the time you contact us to get on the schedule, you will not be included in this event.
🌙 Cats older than 1 year of age should be fasted through the night prior to surgery. Cats under 1 year of age should be fed light. All cats should still have access to water.
🐈 Kittens must be minimum of 2lbs AND 2 months old to be fixed.
📍 4669 Executive Drive in Portage is our location. You must type this into your GPS otherwise it will take you to Kalamazoo Animal Rescues old location.
💉 Rabies $10, Distemper $10, Felv test $20, Felv vaccine $20, Bravecto $15, Microchip $15 (Chip will be registered to owner at the end of the day.)
Antibiotics as needed will be charged at check out.
🗓️ Please text Kayla at 616-312-7412 to schedule and pay for your spay/neuter. Include your name, address, email address, quantity of cats, cat's genders and their names. Appointments are first come first serve based on payment. Payment link will be sent to you when you reach out to schedule. Failure to pay within 24 hours of initial contact will result in your spot being lost.
