🐾 Weekend Spotlight: Keke & Minnie 🐾

Meet Keke and Minnie!

After recently joining the Pawzitive Vibez family for grooming, their family trusted us to care for them in the comfort of their own home while they were away for the weekend.

Keke has a playful personality, isn't shy about letting you know exactly what's on her mind, and rarely lets her favorite Chewy Vuitton toy out of sight. Minnie is just as sweet and loves relaxing in her favorite spot on the bed.

One of the things we love most about in-home pet sitting is getting to know each pet's unique personality while keeping them in the place they're happiest... home. Their routines stay familiar, their favorite spots don't change, and they receive the same thoughtful, individualized care they've come to know from us.

We had such a wonderful weekend with these two and are so grateful their family trusted us with their care. Thank you, Keke and Minnie, for making the weekend so much fun. ❤️

🐾 We’re excited to be joining the Pet Adoption Event at Waters Edge Apartments on Saturday, June 20th!

This event is being held in partnership with the City of Plano Adoption Center and is a wonderful opportunity to meet dogs and cats looking for their forever homes.

We’ll be on-site offering quick nail trims throughout the event, so whether you’re stopping by to adopt, support local rescue efforts, or simply spend time with fellow animal lovers, we’d love to meet you.

🐾 Tick Season Is Here in North Texas 🐾

During a routine grooming appointment today, we discovered an attached tick hidden beneath a pet’s coat.

Many ticks go unnoticed because they can hide deep within the fur, especially around the ears, neck, underarms, and other hard-to-see areas. Left undetected, they can cause irritation and discomfort and may pose health risks to your pet.

One of the benefits of one-on-one grooming is the opportunity to thoroughly inspect the skin and coat during every appointment. Today, we were able to identify the tick, safely remove it, and notify the pet parent.

While grooming is not a substitute for veterinary care or veterinarian-recommended preventatives, regular grooming can help catch concerns before they become bigger problems.

One of the things I realized early on in grooming is that this isn’t just about haircuts.

Some dogs arrive a little unsure or shut down, but by the end of the appointment you can see the change. They feel better, they trust you, and their whole personality comes out.

That transformation is one of the best parts of what we do! 🐶
