We had a couple of very male heavy litters born recently, and we have two male reservations left. We also have one female with a cute little bobbed tail available as well! We typically match pups with families, but with a unique tail, we want to make sure someone is specifically drawn to her initially. Our normal vehicle setup wasn't big enough for two litters, so we rented a U-haul. They didn't have any 10 foot trucks, so we overkilled the necessary extra space with a 20 foot truck. Our vet clinic got such a kick out of it all, that they took our picture and put it up on their page! They all looked and did great with their checkup and vaccines, and they will be going to their new homes in a few days!

Both litters have been born! The final count is 12 girls and 5 boys! We are happily exhausted and thankful!

Rye is PREGNANT! We've been waiting for this litter for almost 4 years altogether! Rye has only had one pup up to this point, and it was with Whiskey's half brother, Tank. That one pup ended up being a gorgeous dog (he's the picture of the sleeping puppy), and we have been trying for our litter ever since. We are so excited!

Bell had her puppy count x-ray on Friday, and it showed 10 (possibly 11) puppies! I decided to fly down to Dallas to assist with her first birth, so this weekend was very full and busy. Mocha’s litter is doing great, and they are with Zach in Wyoming until this Saturday where we will all be reunited for a short while before they go to their new families. I’m missing my chunky puppy snuggles already! Bell’s temperature has dropped, so now we are just waiting for puppies to make their arrival! There should be a few puppies available after the birth, so text us if you’re interested in reserving one of them!

Mocha's puppy count x-ray went very well. Approximately 10 puppies is what we think we can count. Her due date is Wednesday the 15th. We'll set up her whelping area this weekend and prepare for the birth! With such a big litter, we expect to have room for more reservations than we have accepted so

Mocha's ultrasound is scheduled to take place tomorrow if the weather allows, and we are hoping that there will be some pups. However, we thought Whiskey had possibly been having a mild reaction to one of his vaccines, but it turns out he actually caught something. He's being treated now, and everything should resolve soon, but we found out the sickness might have affected his s***m count temporarily....

Mocha went into heat last week, and she and Whiskey have been busy trying to make some puppies for the last couple days. We will schedule an ultrasound soon that will take place in about a month. If the ultrasound shows a viable pregnancy, puppies would be due roughly around March 15 (give or take 3-5 days), and they would most likely go home May 6th or May 13th....

We hope you all had a fantastic holiday season! Mocha has received her CHIC number and is showing signs of coming into heat soon, so we are full of anticipation! We got to see all of our Texas dogs in Guardianship when we visited, and we are incredibly excited about their planned litters this year! We are also changing the language we have been using for the past several years....

Mocha completed her final OFA hip and elbow x-rays, and she did well. Her hips scored a "Good" and her elbows were normal. She should get her CHIC number soon, and we will plan to let her breed with Whiskey on her next heat cycle. No pups were found on Rye's ultrasound. On her next heat cycle, we plan to progesterone test and then take her to Fort Collins for a transcervical insemination. We're disappointed, but we'll keep trying. We will be health testing a few of our girls in Guardianship soon, and they will hopefully be bred on their next cycle. I will also now be planning to come with Zach to drive Toffee's litter to Texas. We hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

We have an ultrasound scheduled for next week, and we'll send out an update once we know if she is pregnant. First off, Whiskey and Rye did not tie, but we artificially inseminated a few times. We will schedule an ultrasound to take place before Thanksgiving to see if she's pregnant. Second of all, Toffee had her babies! There were 2 boys and 8 girls born! We did not accept enough female deposits pre-birth, because I did not expect 8 girls. There are 2 females available at this point if anyone is interested....

Our beautiful girl Rye is Back in Heat, and we are planning to attempt another pairing with Whiskey. We'll announce whether they successfully tie in a couple weeks. We've been hoping for this pairing for years, and we were sad it was a miss last heat cycle, but we really hope Rye is ready this time and that Whiskey is willing! If successful, these pups will go home in February.

All 8 of these babies traveled beautifully, and they're all with their new owners. Handing over puppies and seeing the joy and love of the people taking them home is one of our favorite parts of this process. It's bittersweet, but the sweet outweighs the bitter by far. We want to say congratulations to Bridger (the stud we originally arranged for Toffee)....

The babies from Whiskey and Mocha are almost 8 weeks old and will be going home soon! Toffee and Phill met up last week and tied successfully! The ultrasound for that litter will be at the end of of this month. They will probably turn 8 weeks old right around Christmas Eve. We are tentatively planning on driving these pups to Texas for their families since it's so close to Christmas, and Christmas surprises are the best!...

Toffee went into heat this past week! She should be bred within the next 12 days, and an ultrasound should take place by the end of September. The puppies could be ready to go home December 22 (ish). There is a slight change of plans with the stud. "Bridger" was the originally planned match for Toffee, but he is servicing ladies in Montana for a few weeks....

Mocha and Whiskey's litter is completely reserved. The next breeding we have planned is the Toffee/Bridger pairing in August. These pups would be ready to go home in December (possibly close to Christmas). They will be raised in Wyoming, but we will meet families in Denver, and we may even have "flight nannies" available to fly with pups to those interested if anyone wants help with "Christmas surprises." Deposits for AKC Limited Registration will open after an ultrasound confirms a pregnancy, but Priority AKC Limited Registration, Full AKC Registration, and Guardianship deposits are open and available anytime before then....

We are catching up on sleep and are very proud of Mocha's mothering skills. She is fantastic with her babies! For those who were waiting until after the birth to see if enough females were born, we had six girls born, and we have 2 female deposits available.
