SASHA – HOSPICE FOSTER

❤️ A Forever Foster is usually a dog who has medical issues that are too hard to overcome and are not adoptable or may be in their senior years. We have a few come in every year and thankfully, we have WONDERFUL fosters who truly want to provide a loving forever foster home to these special Bostons. We can provide for Forever Foster dogs thanks for our generous supporters and we are very grateful for both! Our Fosters also have to at times make the tough decision to help these babies cross the Rainbow Bridge or they cross on their own as did Sasha.

❤️ Sasha was 14 years old and came to BTRNT when her owner was unable to afford the vet care she needed due to a digestive disorder that caused her to have frequent messy and projectile diarrhea. We worked hard to determine the cause of her diarrhea and figure out her digestive disorder. We figured out she needed a special diet. She also had a growth that on her paw that would keep coming back and had to be removed every month or so with cryo therapy. Sasha fought hard for the year and a half she was with her Foster Mom but suddenly declined rapidly one day. Her foster Mom knew she was tired and was ready to go. She held her and told her how much she was loved as she crossed the rainbow bridge.

One of our fantastic Volunteers dropped everything to give him his Freedom ride to BTRNT. Fresh bath given and he is all ready for cuddles.

👀Look Deep Into My Eyes!👀
My name is Frog and I am a 2 yr old darling Merle Frenchie boy with the worlds softest fur coat. I am extremely loving and a Gold Medal winner in snuggling events! I am crate trained and leash trained which comes in handy for our strolls around the block or when I join you on outings. I am not yet fully housetrained, but I am trying hard to get the hang of it. You see I came from a situation that was less than desirable, but it did not break my loving spirit.
I do require a home with no other dogs, you see I want all the attention and I do not like to share my food or toys.

❤️Chapito returned to BTRNT by no fault of his own… this 2 yr old, potty trained handsome boy stepped back into his foster home as if he had not left. Chapito now called Zeus is ready to start his new journey to seek his forever home and he will be looking for a home that has a dog friend and an active family! This boy isn’t all play he does enjoy impersonating a couch potato and poolside naps.

Hey Peoples! Princess Peanut here. I am doing so good! I have started to eat some dry kibbles which is a really big deal for me. I have been successful eating my kibbles and keeping them down on most days! Yesterday wasn’t too good but Foster momma says don’t worry, we will get there. We take 1 step forward and 2 steps back but we continue to push on in hopes I can some day eat like a regular dog. (Don’t tell Foster momma but I don’t really mind the special attention I gets!) I also gained 2 pounds! Woo hoo! Overall, I am a happy puppers who likes to give my foster mommas lots to do, clean up and worry about. Keep thinking good thoughts for me…I’m really trying! All my love, Peanut PS - Thank you again to everyone who supported me on my journey and during North Texas Giving Day. I know my surgery was a lot of moo-lah. But, it saved my life!
