We have a stonefish! This professional grump-face is extremely venomous! The dorsal spines are the dangerous part and are usually encountered by feet in the shallows of the ocean. Most people will need medical attention if they step on one. In an aquarium, the danger of that is pretty low unless you have a habit of walking around in your tank. Ours is already eating from tongs! So, while he is not a snuggler, he is a really cool addition to any predator tank or tank without small fish.

Prawns! Did you know that some species of ghost shrimp have a habit of turning into prawns that are 6 inches long?! They have a habit of eating your fish too! People are always skeptical when I tell them not to keep them as pets and why. Here’s our proof guys! Ghost shrimp are not good pets or cleaners. They are food pure and simple.
