****Jumping clinic****
Elevation equestrian Center is having a jumping clinic January 2&3 with Trainer Shannon Hartman.
Saturday is for riders that jump 2’3 and 2’6, Sunday is for riders that jump 2’9 and above. Clinic will be an hour and a half to two hours. Please sign up now as few spots are left.
$100 per rider and $25 per spectator
PLEASE NOTE: the clinic will follow USEF safety guidelines regarding COVID 19. Everyone must wear a must at all times unless you are on the horse.

I am a hunter/jumper professional; I am looking to take on some full time training clients to join my show team. I have ridden with and trained beside some of the top trainers in the country, I have been riding since I could walk and was born and raised in the training/show world. I’ve done most disciplines from pleasure, cutting, reining, dressage, to jumpers and hunters. I may be young for a trainer ,however after following in my mothers footsteps who has been in the industry for 25 years training horses and going to some of the top rated shows across the country, I have seen it all the good, the bad and the ugly. I have learned so much over the years knowing from day one that this is what I wanted to do. I had to start from the ground and build my way to the top, I just did it at a very young age. As a trainer’s kid I was always put on the nastiest horses who probably should have been a bronc in the rodeo ring. However, one thing I have learned over the years is that like most people horses are misunderstood. That sometimes like kids, it takes a village to teach them. Sometimes as trainers you have to reach out and call other local trainers and ask for their opinion or help. No matter the age everyone still has something to learn as everyone has learned different technics or different way of going about things, they have experiences different types of horses and personalities in life. I have seen the inns and outs of not just the show ring, that is unfair and political but the boarding side of things with the relationships and drama in barns. I helped run a 30-stall show barn that was filled with drama that seemed like it never stopped. This is why I down sized and want to find riders that are more serious about the where they want go in their riding and have the willingness to learn rather than worrying about being better than the person stalled next to you. This is why it is called a show TEAM and we need to work together. I had moved to Tennessee and worked beside one of the top trainers that taught old miss’s equestrian team. Going all over the east coast to the rated shows like Kentucky, Gulf Port and Tryon. I then went to help a barn that started with two boarders that never road their horses, grow into a full training facility single handedly taking the entire team to the world show and congress, training anywhere from 4-12 babies a day teaching them to do their jobs so their owners could ride them. I may have been on the training side of things since I was 14 and still have a lot to learn, but the question is who doesn’t? I personally feel that my age is a blessing for where I am at in my career, as I am able to connect with the younger students and the older ones. I have worked hard to get where I am at and age is just a number its about experiences and putting them into practice.

I am now a partner with Tracy Miller running and operation Elevation Equestrian Center. It is a small facility that is growing to be more than I ever imagined. I am looking for riders that are serious about learning and growing in the rated show world. People that put the horse first above their own wants, and riders that are willing to have a little faith in, yes a younger but experienced trainer to take them as far as they can go.
