Big reunion day yesterday. Nemo and Lizzie have been cozied up through the holidays with us. Their veteran was able to take them yesterday, and I think they were happy to see each other.
Poe reunited with his family after a long day of moving. 0$ cost to the veteran for boarding and healthcare. Spread the word.
If you see a chihuahua laying in the middle of the driveway sunbathing when you drive up, he’s okay. We have to walk out most days and drag him back to the shade.

The VA called us in March about an Army veteran employee who showed up to work with all of his belongings. One of them, a 10 lb. 12 year old chihuahua named Patches. The veteran lost his housing, but didn’t want to miss work. Patches has been here ever since. The veteran checks in regularly to let me know where he is, in the housing assistance program and ask about the “Mayor of Kennelville”. Being in a kennel for that amount of time isn’t really an option, so he gets free roam of the property and uses it mostly on tanning. He can be seen here trying to help me speed up Gunner’s recall.

This service is provided at NO cost to the veteran. Zero. We’re using equipment and food from the training business and paying the vet bills out of pocket. If you’re looking for ways to help or just want to come lay in the driveway with patches, reach out!
