Dog Training of Tampa Bay, Inc. Dog Training of Tampa Bay- Unparalleled Expertise, Credentials & Accomplishments are only some of th No two dogs are the same! They prefer a social lifestyle.

Over ninety percent of all behavior problems are related to the ability to effectively communicate with your dog. Research shows that every dog possesses a unique personality. According to Ivan’s observation and experience, behavioral characteristics of dogs differ to the same degree as they do in humans. Indeed, much of what is known about human personality types is also applicable to the study

of dog behavior. Every dog owner is well aware of the fact that Dogs are pack animals. However, these packs are structurally dynamic, different dogs also possess different drives. Breeds that are generally more responsive to human command, also usually manifest higher levels of socialized behavior in pack situations. This tendency leads many to conclude that dogs that are more socialized also possess a higher level of intelligence, than dogs that are more autonomous in their behavior. Ivan and Natalia Balabanov point out, however, that the distinguishing factor lies in the trainer’s ability to motivate, rather than the intelligence of the dog itself. Breeds with lower pack drives require less attention and companionship than more social dogs. At Dog Training of Tampa Bay, inc. we are proud to say that for us there no hard to train dogs! Ivan’s revolutionary system Obedience Without Conflict is based on the ability to clearly communicate with dogs! His patient style of teaching has made him the most popular coach of trainers in U.S.A. In the past fifteen years, Ivan has given over nine hundred seminars and workshops in the United States, Canada Germany, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Greece, Czech Republic, England, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Australia, Canada, South Korea, Hong Kong, Columbia, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Venezuela (to name a few). which has made him one of the driving forces in popularizing reward-based training around the globe. Natalia and Ivan are fluent in all modern training methods. Take a look at the services and talk to us to find out which ones is the best for your dog and your budget. Worked as an Animal Behaviorist for 5 years at The San Francisco SPCA ( the first non kill animal shelter in the world) his job was to evaluate and successfully rehabilitate dogs, who were referred by other professional dog trainers as hopeless cases. During the same time Ivan also developed the curriculum and was the original founder of The San Francisco SPCA School for Dog Trainers. Worked as an Instructor at The Guide Dogs for the Blind, inc. in San Rafael, CA. Where he trained successfully more than 300 dogs and students. Founder and former president of American Working Malinois Association ( AWMA) FCI ( international) licensed working dog judge Ivan Balabanov is arguably the most accomplished dog trainer in USA, but what makes a dog trainer the best in the world?

If you are not already subscribed to my newsletter, you may not get the opportunity to attend.

You can subscribe to my newsletter on my website.

If any spots remain available, we will provide the link to apply here on on my page next week, but at the moment it does not seem likely.

Everyone has been asking for this 💪🏻

For the first time in 4 years I will be hosting a Helper Workshop!

It will be happening on March 12th - March 16th, 2025

Details on registration will be released on Tuesday, January 14th exclusively to people on my email list.

I am asked about this workshop multiple times per month.

It is by far my most requested and inquired about workshop.

It is very likely we will not have another one for another 4-5 years.

We anticipate a very large amount of people applying to join so it is very likely that it will already be sold out before the details are released publicly.

This will sell out extremely quickly.

I highly advise you get on my email list if you want to join me for this one.

Stay tuned 😉

Another great one out! 🥳

Welcome to the latest TWC podcast, where we challenge one of the most controversial and misleading documents in the dog training industry: the AVSAB position statement on training methods. Force-free trainers often uphold this statement as the ultimate authority, claiming it represents a scientific consensus that should dictate the industry’s practices. But we believe this statement is not only flawed but also dangerous and unethical. Today, we got together to examine its weaknesses and set the record straight!

Joining me are three exceptional experts with unparalleled experience in dog training, breeding, and behavioral science:

First, Stephanie Cottee, an animal behavior and welfare scientist, researcher, and co-owner of Black Kraken K9. Stephanie combines her scientific expertise with practical experience as a working German Shepherd trainer and breeder, bringing a unique perspective to the conversation.

Next, Dr. Stewart Hilliard, a behavioral neuroscientist with a PhD and 45 years of experience in training and breeding working dogs. Much of his career has been devoted to military dog training, establishing him as one of the foremost authorities in the field.

Finally, Michael Ellis, a legendary trainer with 45 years of experience. In the past Michael has spent over a decade giving seminars for police, sport, and search-and-rescue dog handlers. He’s the founder of the Michael Ellis School for Dog Trainers, which he has run for 15 years, and a breeder of exceptional Belgian Malinois.

Together, we dissect the AVSAB position statement, reveal its contradictions, and discuss the true science and ethics behind effective dog training.
