We have seen several cases this week of heat exhaustion & heat stroke. Please do not allow exercise (fetch, jogging, etc) in these times of extreme temperatures. Do not leave pets in car for any period, even with the windows down.
If showing signs listed below, especially following any exercise, use cool, NOT cold water on pet and seek vet care immediately.

We don’t usually treat livestock, but TK is a special chicken with a special family who loves him dearly. Four years ago, when his owners couldn’t find anyone to take his case, we consulted avian experts and got him strutting his stuff again.
His grateful family brings him for a visit every year & we are always ecstatic to see him & how well he is doing.

It has been a long time since Tammy (our rock star Office Manager) had to step up as tech for a day. She & Dr. Chloe, our amazing associate, teamed up & got the job done for our patients.

“Zoey” was found in poor condition on side the highway by a Good Samaritan some months ago & brought to AMC for care.
“Prima Rose” is now living her best life & celebrating her first Christmas as part of Dr. Jenny’s family.

What a loyal pup! 🥰 Someone give Artemis all the treats.

(His 4 & 7 year old sisters were lost in the deep woods near their home in Folsom, La. He never left their sides and barked to alert rescuers to their location.)

Artemis never left the girls side. He also wouldn’t let the rescuers near them. Good job Big Brother!
