Where would we be without our behind-the-scenes staff? Our last shout-out of the week is dedicated to our team members who are working diligently in the background to keep the Plattsmouth Animal Hospital running smoothly.
Some of you may remember Kinlea from when she was a full-time veterinary assistant starting back in 2017. But you may not know that she came back after having her triplets in 2021 to take charge of our hospitalized and boarding patients on the weekends and holidays.
β¨ She does an amazing job! β¨
Sara started at PAH back in 2006 when Dr Robin left a message on her answering machine asking if she ever wanted to "help out in the kennels on some Saturdays". She thought she was just volunteering for fun that first day, but then Dr. Stoehr let her know that they wanted to hire her. Since then, she has worked as a veterinary assistant, front desk receptionist, and everything in between. She currently focuses on keeping our computers up and running with our new cloud-based practice management software, along with personnel management, website development, client satisfaction support, community outreach, and her favorite: general problem solving around the hospital. From a leaky hose to an autoclave sanitizer on the fritz, she loves a challenge. And we appreciate her versatility! π
Erin started out at the front desk in 2021. When we were looking to fill our inventory management and office administration position, she threw her hat in the ring. We were hesitant to lose such a valuable asset at the front desk, but she's been doing an exemplary job in her new position! Making sure that invoices and statements are paid in a timely manner and that we never run out of any needed products is only a fraction of what her job entails. And her fabulous organizational skills are only matched by her ability to put anything into an Excel spreadsheet. We are lucky to have her on our team! π
