Our Story
Sharon's Place opened the doors for dog grooming and daycare on July 5, 2017. Roy and Sharon have many years of experience doing boarding and daycare. The dogs seem to love them very, very much as they do the dogs. We have groomers for dogs by appointment but can occasionally take walk ins. Nails can be done on a walk-in basis as long as you come early. Self-serve area is open after 3 by appointment. Call for pricing. We treat each and every dog as an individual, giving each one their own time and space with us. The dogs are allowed to roam the shop and outside play area if the parents are ok with it. After they are groomed they are placed in their own wire kennel so they stay clean but can watch what is happening around them.
Daycare dogs can arrive as soon as 7:30 a.m. and play inside or out at their own discretion. We do require they get along with dogs of all sizes and are good with people. They must not jump 7 foot fences as we are way too slow to chase them:). They also need to be spayed or neutered. Daycare is free the day they are getting groomed. Please pick up by 5:30 p.m. or special arrangements made.
Boarding dogs run with the daycare dogs during the day. There are plenty of people here to give them hugs and loves. We are able to administer meds given to them by a vet as long as we have the instructions. No extra charge! They have their own individual kennels for the night. They can bring their own beds, blankets and food but no toys--those get lost. If you want your dog to have treats, you must bring enough for all.
