August 8, 1982. - A line-drive foul ball hits a four-year-old boy in the head at Fenway. Jim Rice, realizing in a flash that it would take EMTs too long to arrive and cut through the crowd, sprang from the dugout and scooped up the boy.
He laid the boy gently on the dugout floor, where the Red Sox medical team began to treat him.
When the boy arrived at the hospital 30 minutes later, doctors said, without a doubt, that Jim's prompt actions saved the boy's life.
Jim came back to the game wearing a uniform stained with blood, a genuine symbol of bravery.
Following his visit to the boy in the hospital and understanding the family's limited financial resources, he dropped by the business office and directed them to send the bill to him.

I have 2 little ladies that need homes. Because of that ice storm we were without power and internet, put us way behind in getting these last couple homed. We sold our last boy a couple of days ago and just these 2 beautiful little girls left. We have lowered our rehoming fee only because of their ages, they are 14 weeks and are in need of more peopling than the 2 of us can provide.

I have 2 beautiful little girls that still need homes. Because they are 14 weeks old I have lowered the rehoming fee to $1500. With the ice storm that left us without power for 2weeks we have fallen behind in getting homed.

I had adopted her but she refused to come away with me. It was weird because dogs can't wait to leave the kennel. She was crying and stubbing her paws. I should have dragged her. But when I looked down I understood the reason and I had to make a CHOICE "When the time came to take her home she was just out of that cage, from that moment a new world awaited her, a wonderful life and a lot of love. Any other dog would have run into the embrace of her rescuers. But she did not. She stood still, sticking to all fours, and refused to come out of the cage. In a corner, a small Chihuahua Taco looked at her in fear. She understood that she was about to lose her best friend. And in that moment a small miracle happened. The couple saw the whole scene and decided to adopt them both. They did the documents also for the chihuahua and all 4 went out the door of the shelter. was taken in the car, before leaving. I would like to wish these two dogs a happy life full of love! But above all so much happiness also to these two wonderful people ❤️

I would like to ask those of you that have purchased puppies from me to take a moment to comment on this post and to share it. I have been accused of perpetrating a scam for asking for a deposit to hold a puppy for a potential buyer who could back out on the agreement and cost me a sale and expense for continued care . I love these puppies, and I'm careful of buyers.
So I ask for those who know me and have those that have purchased puppies from me to assure you that these babies and buyers are genuine.
