Reality's Chance was named after Reality; the first horse to the barn and a champion all heart war horse. He was pretty beat up in terms of hoof and right front tendon damage (retired from the race track). He was sound and happy and the inspiration for the rescue. We

lost Reality earlier in 2015 but will fight to keep going in his honor. He's with us every day. Eleos was another rescue adopted through the BLM. You would never know standing by his side that he endured the violence of a helicopter round up. He is a very loving 1000 pound animal that has definitely learned forgiveness to mankind for robbing him of his herd and land out in Salt Creek, Wyoming.

One of our Sanctuary Horses (Gobi) has some medical issues including f***l water syndrome.

Shelly Keeler Horsfall is his angel on earth constantly loyal and taking such amazing care of this boy.

If anyone out there has had success treating, we are open. We have spent a lot of funds trying to help him and keep it under control. I would give anything to help Gobi. And thank you Ellen High for helping today as well !!

Hey everyone !! Stacia is coming to the barn from this clinic in Indianapolis. We have a spot open from 9 to 11 a.m. so any Balance Through Movement Method students who want to come on November 25th (Monday) please let us know !

HELLO ALL ! Hey the truck we are sending to the Carolinas is leaving in in about 10 days. THEY DESPERATELY NEED T-POSTS so if you have any used around your barn, please drop them off to us or let us know how we can pick them up for this mission.

If you are at the store and feeling inclined to help out with the other things that are desperately needed it is, short handled shovels, electrobraid type fencing, copper split bolts and the rubber fence toppers for the t-posts. AGAIN drop off at the Rescue or let us know and we will pick them up within the next 7 to 10 days!

Day 2 is in the books! Stay tuned for the final tally of our collaborative “Fill the Trailer Event” to support the Hurricane Helene victims!

We will post some final numbers and photos for you as soon as we can go through things to organize for transport!

Special huge thank you to everyone again. We saw so many friends, adopters, sponsors, volunteers and the NW Equestrian team helped out as well. David H M Cox really did well meeting people at the door to explain the mission and capture people! ❤️

RECEIVED the message below JUST BEFORE MIDNIGHT!!! Because of the kindness of our followers, we’ve received donations while sleeping. We will be buying boots in the morning ❤️

…………In case there's still time to add to the list, work boots and muck boots are needed. They thought they had enough, but the chemicals in the water are eating through the nelprene soles, so even the firemen and first responders - and people who are trying to repair their homes and properties are wearing out their boots. All sizes, steel toed are good, and warm is best.

Imagine the terror of having to prepare your beloved horse(s) or other fur babies to turn them loose in hopes they can better navigate the horrors to come when a hurricane is headed your way…horrifying! Then in the aftermath you find your beloved animals only to discover you have lost your home, barn, paddock fencing, feed and home with all of your personal possessions…a month later, our fellow citizens are still struggling and need us more than ever!

Today, our faith in humanity was restored as our community and supporters came together to help our friends out east after the Hurricane ravaged their lives. Today, we collected just over $3,000 in cash donations for our personal shoppers to work on completing the list of needs, we have $2,200 in round bales of hay donated and a conservative estimate of $10,000 in donated items loaded into our Hurricane Relief Trailer…this was for day 1!!! 🎉 We are so grateful for a community that cares and supporters who rise to the occasion when we send out the call for help! We look forward to Day 2 with hope, optimism and a renewed energy to make this the best fundraiser yet!

Day 1 of our joint fundraiser to help the Hurricane victims is in the books! We are overwhelmed and humbled by the kindness of our community! The donations in PayPal have flooded in as well today and we will be shopping for “all the things” needed to help the victims and their pets! THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for all the support today…we are so blessed to be surrounded by truly amazing people!
