These next few days, play time outside is restricted to early morning hours and later evening hours due to the extreme heat. Dogs are chilling in the house in the AC catching up on some true crime with me. Their safety is my top priority.

And can we take a moment to appreciate these happy faces ? 😍

Koda Boy is back for his weekend vacation, and settled in just like home!

This dog takes the most wide pooping stance I’ve ever seen 😂

TSK would like to wish the most extra special warm welcome to Lucy and her brother, Sarge. They are very special guests and I am honored they decided to spend the weekend with us.

🚨🚨🚨UPDATE 🚨🚨🚨

Owner has been located and verified through microchip information. The owner was NOT the dumper! These dogs are very well loved and cared for, and they have been desperately searching for them. These two monkeys slipped past the kids when they opened the door and weren’t wearing their GPS collars at the time. Their owner will be picking them up this evening.

We still don’t know how they got to Goshen, nor who picked them up, but I am confident that these girls are well-loved and cared for at home. Disparaging remarks towards their people won’t be tolerated. We are just so grateful that they were uninjured and we were able to give them a soft place to land for a few hours. Thank you to everyone for all your help sharing so these girls could make it back to their loving family safely!

Okay TSK Pack, my beautiful niece brought these two labs to us after watching them get dumped out of a vehicle on SR 28 near the Goshen Kroger. They are politely mannered, beautiful coats, nice teeth, clipped nails, and have a typical Labrador sweet disposition. The Warren County Dog Warden is aware, and we are actively working on trying to find their people. One is chipped, but it isn’t registered, so the microchip folks are trying to track that down for us.

What I need from all of you is to share these sweet babies far and wide. Someone loved these dogs enough to care for them AND teach them manners, so someone is missing them. Let’s find their people. It’ll be between their people and the Dog Warden to arrange a reunion, as I will not be releasing them to just anyone who comes looking around.

You can PM me on here or shoot me a text.

Thanks!

Someone go pull this baby.

RESIGNATION LETTER
From: Bronte
To: The Humans Who Keep Saying “You’ll Get Adopted Soon”

After months of smiling for the camera, tolerating loud puppies, and being described as “such a good boy” with no follow-through, I hereby resign from adoptable dog status.

I am 3 years old. 50 pounds. Handsome in a brooding, non-needy way. I like girl dogs best, mind my business, and have never once eaten anyone’s Crocs.

Despite this, I remain tragically unadopted. I’ve watched louder, messier, wetter dogs leave before me. Some didn’t even sit on command. I sit so well.

Please forward all future meet-and-greet requests to literally any other dog who enjoys being rejected.

Effective immediately, I will be moving into a state of quiet retirement, where I no longer get my hopes up or wag my tail for strangers.

Best of luck with your continued search for “the right dog.”
– Bronte

STAFF RESPONSE
To: Bronte
From: Literally All of Us

No.

You may not resign.

You’re too good, and we are far too emotionally invested in this saga. You will sit for the camera again. You will tolerate our desperate captions. You will be adopted, even if we have to walk around town with a sandwich board that says “ASK ME ABOUT BRONTE.”

So get comfy, but not too comfy.

We’re not giving up.
