What a week for Team Tally Hawk at the Paso Robles Welcome Classic! From the short stirrup to the international derby, our riders had wins and great rides across the board ⭐️ pc

Highlights include:

•Vanitas:
-Top Score of 90 in round one of the National Derby with trainer Jessica Allan, 4th place finish overall
-Multiple wins in the A/O hunters and performance hunters with owner Kailyn Gray

•Sunnyside:
-Champion with a clean sweep over fences in the 3’ greens with trainer Jessica Allan

•Thunderstruck w/owner Milla Leal-Schuman:
-Reserve Champion jnr equitation
-Winner of the 3’6” junior hunter handy round
-Winner of the CPHA jun/am 3’6” medal
-2nd 3’6” NorCal medal

•Gentleman Jack w/owner Sarah Maples:
-Reserve Champion A/A hunters
-Winner of the 3’ NorCal

•Rockzig w/owner Sara Sloan:
-Winner .90 jumpers
-brilliant and consistent rides from Sara

•Never Say Never owned by Anne Saunders w/rider Ava Hlebakos:
-Champion Short Stirrup Hunters at her first show!
-2nd Short Stirrup derby
-2nd Short Stirrup Classic

•Cheerful w/owner Emily Breece:
-Winner 3’6” A/O hunters
-10th place USHJA International Hunter Derby

•Wondrous owned by Lynnda Ose w/rider Emily Breece:
-Completed his first USHJA International Derby!
-Top placings in the 3’6” performance and A/O hunters

Team Tally Hawk had a great start to our show season at Week 9! With a winter of hard work under our belts, our little group held their own very nicely at this competitive venue.

Highlights include:

•Thunderstruck and Milla:
- 5th USHJA National Jn/Am Derby
- Winner Eq flat 16-17
- top results and great rounds in the juniors and eq

•Gentleman Jack and Sarah:
- Top 5 placings and great consistency in the adult eq, hunters and medals

•Vanitas and Kailyn:
- Winner Jn/Am Mod hunters
- great rides in the A/O hunters and adult medals

•Sunnyside and Milla:
- moved up to the 3’3” Mod Jn/Am division with consistent rounds and great results!

What a time we had at ! Congrats to our entire show team on a successful and more importantly, FUN, outing ⭐️ 🙌!

Highlight accomplishments include:

Milla and Thunderstruck:
•7th in the USHJA jnr/am derby
•86 score 3’6” junior hunters
•First time in the Maclay and made the work off
•Fantastic rounds in the Junior Hunters and Medals

Emily and Cheerful:
•Superb round in the HUGE USHJA International Derby, jumping all the high options
•7th place A/O Classic
•Great rounds in the 3’9” Greens and A/O Hunters

Samm and Wondrous:
•Multiple top 3 placings in the A/A and 3’ A/O Hunters
•Consistency and confidence to end their first year showing together

Jess and Sunnyside:
•Good ribbons in GREAT company in the 3’ Greens

Milla and Sunnyside:
•Consistent rounds over some very difficult age group equitation courses
