The girls did amazing this weekend! So proud of them. Two girls attending their first show ever and everyone placing in the ribbons each day! Emma and Olivia (who was already cozy in her car ready for the long drive home during this pic) also each received the sportsmanship awards for each day at the show. Truly couldn’t be prouder of how hard these girls worked! Now home to keep practicing!!

By joining our riding school (we only have a few spaces open), your child will become part of a supportive and vibrant community of parents and kids. We organize fun events, competitions, and special outings which help create strong friendships and unforgettable memories.

Getting involved with horses can boost self confidence and self- esteem as children conquer challenges and develop a bond with the horses. They can help teach responsibility and work ethic as children learn to care for horses as well as ride them. Riding horses gets your child out from behind a screen and into the outdoors.

We have programs for kids as young as 3 years old. Our experienced trainers provide top-notch guidance, ensuring your child gains a strong foundation for riding in a safe and supportive environment. Our well-trained and kind horses are perfect for beginners and more experienced riders alike.

Lily Grant :
This month our rider and horse of the month are Lily Grant and Merry! They recently just had their first horse show debut and won BOTH of their classes. Lily has been riding with Billings Equestrian for almost 2 years and rides each week with Coach A! Lily is very committed to her horsey life, coming out and riding in 3 lessons each week! We did a little question and answer with Lily and hope you enjoy getting to know her a little bit more!

WHAT. A. WEEK!
Could not be prouder of these two ladies for all they accomplished this past weekend. With a bit of a wild week leading up to the show both and brought their A game and did fantastic.

-Adriana and Night 5th place in the Open CDS PSG with only 2% points between them and 1st place. SUCH a crazy hard competition.

- Delaney and Eeyore were fantastic. They are your CDS 3rd level Jr/YR CHAMPION AND your USDF RESERVE CHAMPION!

I couldn’t be prouder of how hard these ladies have worked all year and to get these results this past weekend is even more amazing.

This month we decided to kick off our horse and rider series with one of our amazing working students and long time students Makenzie Ford (also known as "Kenz") and her horse Rosie. Makenzie is getting ready to tackle life's next big adventure and head off to college next week. We literally could not be more proud of her and are so excited for this next journey in her life.

Many of you do not know that Kenz has ridden with BEQ (Sam) for 12 years. I choose her and her wonderful horse (although she has a few amazing ones "Smarty" - pictured here) Rosalie for the September issue, because quite simply and honestly put this journey for Makenzie and I together has been incredible. Kenz is not only an amazing student but an even more loyal and loving friend. To have spent the last 12 years watching her take on all of life's adventures with grace and strength has been nothing short of amazing. In our time together, Makenzie has shown everything from the local 4H horse events all the way through the PSG in dressage earning her USDF bronze and silver medals. To watch her become such an incredible horsewoman has truly been such an honor and I can't express how much we will all miss seeing her smiling face each and every day.

Rosalie De Charry

Rosalie came into Makenzies life a couple years ago and has taught Makenzie more in the last 2 years than most horses can teach someone in a lifetime. She is a Grand Prix (highest level in Dressage) dressage horse and has shown extensively all over Europe and competed in some of the most prestigious competitions. Together, Makenzie achieved riding at some of the highest levels of our sport, participated in numerous clinics, and holds multiple championship titles both regionally and nationally at all different levels. While this will be the first time I won't get to coach this wonderful team day in and day out, I know that their journey together in college will be an unforgettable experience. I am so looking forward to being their biggest cheerleaders, teaching them via FaceTime when possible and ALWAYS welcoming them back into our barn when they come home for vacations. To say we are going to miss this great duo is an understatement but we can’t wait to watch them soar!
