To all of my amazing and loyal clients and their wonderful pets that have become like family to me;

It is with an extremely heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I regret to inform you that today, April 5, 2025, will be our last day of operation at the Pet Stop. I appreciate all the trust and love and support you have shown me over the last 5 years, but the time has come to close my doors. This was not a decision made lightly and I will miss every single one of you and your four-leggers that I have come to love as my own.
This isn’t a goodbye, it is a “see you later”. I appreciate you all more than you will ever know.

Thank you for everything. I love you all.

As of Saturday, March 1st I will no longer be processing cards in my shop. I will, however be able to accept Venmo, Cash & Checks.
Seems that Square will no longer be compatible with my software, and brand new software isn’t in the cards at the moment. I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause & I will try to remind everyone at drop off of the new policy.

I will not be in the shop grooming today, as my water heater has just given out. If you call, or had an appt I will reach out to you directly and I will let you know what my ETA of fixing it is and I’ll work on getting you all back in asap. I have heard from a couple people that they are not getting messages or calls back. If you called the shop recently or this week, you will most likely have not gotten one as I have been ill and out of the shop. If you have messaged me on FB messenger, I will respond once I am back in the shop and have the schdule in front of me. I am not trying to ignore anyone and I apologize profusely if I have missed your message. Please feel free to shoot a text to 515-669-0384 if you’re needing to schedule and I will get back to you as soon as I am back in the shop!!!

A lot of people ask if I do cats, the answer is ABSOLUTELY! I actually love doing cat grooms. I do have a helper when it comes to most cats, just for safety, so scheduling can be somewhat limited - but I am happy to groom your felines! I can do lion cut, comb out, sanitary trims, etc. just give me a call!

And here is a pic of “Tader” just being the totes amazing, beautiful and huge Maine c**n that she is!

Just wanted to put out a reminder for my clients as it is that time of year again…
We are entering a very busy season with the holidays and with my hours being limited as is right now, I am VERY limited on appointment space. If you miss your appt or don’t cancel with 24+ hours notice there will be a $35 missed appt fee that will be added on to your next appointment. I know it is not convenient for everyone, but it is what I have to do to keep my business alive and get paid for my time.

Also - please remember that I give a 15 minute allowance for appointments. After that 15 minutes we will need to reschedule your appointment. If by chance I can fit your dog or cat in there will be a late fee of $20 added to your appointment total.

For new clients: if you are a new client and you miss your first appointment I will not be able to reschedule you and your pets.

I appreciate all of you understanding! Thank you for all of your love and support!

I will be open for grooming appointments as follows.
8:00 to 5:00 Saturdays and Mondays and
4:30 to 7:00 Tuesdays and Thursdays

If you have an appointment outside of these hours I will be in contact to reschedule.

If you leave a message on the phone I will get back to you as soon as I am back in the office.

Our beginning of summer hours are going to be a bit crazy! Our very own Dylan Barnes is graduating!!!!

We will be closed Wednesday 5/22 @ 2pm through Tuesday 5/27 @ 8am so that these parents can regroup and emotionally recover. 🥰😉
