Best and most efficient dryer(time, energy, & fuel wise) I've ever had. Solar and wind working for me. And I get some much needed vitamin D, fresh air and a moment to appreciate all I have.

Fire near our house today kicked us in gear to finish our preventative fire measures. These photos are from when we first saw the fire to a few minutes ago.

We're so grateful for a supportive and responsive community that worked so hard to get it under control, and get those under evacuations and their animals out when they needed it.

Boba keeps growing. Still takes a bottle everyday, but we lessen the milk each week. But it's still so fun to have a fawn walk up and want love.

Follow-up UPDATE:
I did find out she was too cold. Although I am still unclear how she got too cold. I now know it takes baby goats 5 days to regulate their temp. So I will keep that information close for the future. I did what I could to get her upright and warm. I was getting ready to drive to the vet and she passed. This all happened in just a few short hours. I'll have to find a way to take this info and make improvements. Thank you for all the help that was given and advice. You're a great community of people.

UPDATE:
Little girl is sitting correctly. I took her temp (not sure I did it right) got 91.5F. her mouth was cold. I'm holding her in position now and have her wrapped and a hot rice bag under her.

She has only been fed fresh goat milk. We get them to eat on Mom's milk on her as much as possible. We only supplement with reheated goat milk at night when I bought them in because of weather. Otherwise they've been with Mom.

I need advice. No idea what is happening. Here is a link to the original post.

Baby that seemed tired but making progress all the time on her front wobbly legs took a turn this morning. Now she won't move and it's pooping out yellow foam diarrhea.

It took me a while to post this, but my 2 Nubians have had their babies. Bingchaling had a large buck on Feb 23. There were some weather issues and the baby got trapped for a few hours and got cold. We did what we could but boy didn't make it through the night.
Today Lupe had twins. Little brother and Little sister are up and walking, they got a bit cold with some crappy weather we had the last few days. However we gave them both selenium and watched them feed, also put more straw in their pen. So far they are going great except that Lupe seems to both want her babies and ignore them. We're hoping that will change now that everything has been set up. Bing is attentive to then and Lupe gets jealous, but at least there's another option.
Bing has been giving half a gallon being killed once per day, and that makes me so happy. We're still tweaking what they're eating and how we process it to make it taste as good as possible.
Believing things will only get better and praying if they don't work know what to do if it doesn't.
