Welcome to my new page! I am so excited to welcome Brandi into our home. She is a rescue dog who arrived in West Chester, Pennsylvania from Birmingham, Alabama back on September 21st. Prior to her travels, she was in an Alabama shelter from at least August 6th, based on her medical records. There were no known records of how she landed in a shelter, what her original name was, her true age, or any information about her. We decided to name her Brandi and we re-homed her on October 19, 2021.
Brandi is a very skittish dog. When we found her, she was balled up in a corner of her kennel and she was shaking uncontrollably. Poor girl was obviously stressed to the max and needed badly to find her forever home. In the short time we have had her so far, about 40 hours, I have learned so much about her. We bonded together right away. We are still working on EVERYTHING, such as her fear of going outside, walking on a leash, allowing me to leave her side even for a single minute, etc. But with lots of love, training, and patience, I know we will go far! I'm so happy to have Brandi and provide her a safe and stable home.
As we get to know each other, her likes, her dislikes, her needs, her habits, etc., I will be obtaining products, foods, and accessories to help her transition. I will create a post for each item I try and my opinion on these items. Stay tuned for some great, honest opinions. I am not being compensated for any of this, just an FYI.
