Protect your pet with proper identification this National Pet ID Week! 🏷️🐶 Make sure they have a collar with updated tags and consider microchipping for added security.

From the 17th to the 23rd, we can scan pets for chips here at HPI and provide owners with the chip number. If your pet is not microchipped, the hospital will be able to schedule a free tech appointment for our clients that are up to date on vaccines to get microchipped for only the cost of the chip ($106). This week only!

If you are a hospital client, you may have experienced Lauren’s friendly customer service at the front desk. Lauren attended grooming school and transitioned to Hickory Pet Inn toward the end of 2023 as our Groomer. She leapt into to role with both feet and her passion and skill is seen in every dog she grooms! Her patience and care for the dogs is unmatched.

With Thanksgiving next Thursday and Santa coming to town at Plymouth meeting mall tomorrow and wild light at Elmwood zoo tonight, we wanted to make sure everyone knew what we are thankful for!!!! Be sure to watch until the end it's totally worth it!!!

Pumpkin contest

Sunday October 17th is the kick off to Veterinary Technician Appreciation Week, and to start off the week we had a fun filled pumpkin decorating contest with the staff!!!! We need you help though to pick a winner, come back Monday the 18th, to check out and vote on your favorite pumpkin(s), simply like the picture. Voting ends Saturday October 23rd at 8am, no votes will count after that. We will share the talented winners on Saturday afternoon!!!!
