READY FOR THEIR FOREVER ADOPTIVE HOME:
Blue and Max are about 6 months old now, are fully vetted including being chipped and are ready for adoption.

These two are the silliest, sweetest boys. They both have very sweet dispositions, get along great with other cats and have met two dogs and did fine. In fact, Blue spent a lot of time playing with my cousins pup, they both enjoyed it. Both use their litter boxes perfectly, but do a little furniture scratching we are working on. They haven't figured out the cardboard scratch boxes yet. Needless to say, as kittens go they have a lot of energy.

BACKGROUND: We were told in late December that there was a tiny kitten outside, so we went right over and got the little guy, now known as Max. Max had his ears, feet and tails frostbitten and doesn't show much at all on him.

1 week later we were told of another kitten also chucked outside and left to die so again, we went right over and got the 2nd kitten, now known as Blue. Blue had more frostbite that claimed a chunk of his ear, his feet and tail are fine now as well.

These two deserve the best home (as all do) and will only adopt together as they are very bonded.

If you'd like a full bio, message us and we are happy to send you one.

If you are interested in adopting these two indoor only kitties, please message us and an adoption app will be sent to you, phone interview, meet & greet, home check and final adoption with an adoption fee.

Please feel free to share these sweet boys!

We are located both in Plymouth/Cities and near Fargo.

UPDATE #3 ON RESCUED DOG AUGGIE THE BORDER COLLIE:
We are so sad to say that last night Auggie HAD A seizure so it is very possible he may have had some during the night and was not seen in the last two weeks we have had him. Auggie will need to go back to the vet ASAP now for a seizure screening, meds, etc. and this may result in the need for an MRI, which is pretty costly.

Of course this is going to up his medical care and costs more and we are really hoping for some donations to offset additional medical. We have only received $80.00 thus far and the medical and other needs have run fairly high for a budget and funds we just didn't have, but couldn't turn our backs on his urgent need for rescue. There were still a couple of unsent pledges out there, hopefully those will come in now.

PLEASE...consider helping Auggie as his needs are becoming emergent again. Links and Vet clinic are listed at the bottom of this post, under the first post. THANK YOU EVERYONE!
_______________________________________________________________________
UPDATE #2
Auggie was at the vet last week and had a full blood panel, seizure screening, tests for tick diseases, dewormed. His lazy eye was also assessed as was his front leg where it had been broken.

Auggie was positive for Anaplasmosis, Lymes and Erlichosis. Thankfully he was not loaded with heartworm as we had expected he would.

He is being treated for the tick diseases and was prescribed phenobarbital for seizures in case he had a seizure and vet was closed.

We suspect and hope his seizures stem from the Anaplasmosis
and are not a condition he will have for life.

Auggie desperately needs a bath and grooming still.

We would love and very much appreciate any sponsors to help offset some medical, food and other expenses for him.

Once he is healthy enough for surgery, he will be neutered, chipped and 3 teeth in the back worked on.

We are a cat rescue but never turn our backs on any animal in need, whether we have the budget and funds or not and Auggie was in desperate need with no place to land, so we took him in.

Funds have been depleted from a 31 cat trapping project in Fergus Falls and still have 8 more cats to alter and fully vet, then place.

The hope is we can get him healthy enough, fully vetted and get some basic training done so this very sweet boy can find a forever home, not be tossed outdoors to live and essentially fend for himself and was 100% unvetted. 😪

He is a very happy boy to be indoors and is doing excellent and behaving well as an indoor pup.

PLEASE HELP BY SPONSORING AUGGIE.
💙🐾🐕🐾💙

Venmo and PP are noted at the bottom of this in original post.

UPDATE ON THE BORDER COLLIE RESCUED - AUGGIE:
Auggie (formerly Skippy) has been with us now since last Thursday and is doing very well. Thus far, he has not had any seizures his foster mom is aware of (can happen at night of course) which is a huge relief, as we were told he has bad seizures fairly regularly.

He is already mostly potty trained now too, something his former people did ever do.

Auggie is going to the vet tomorrow at 1:30 for a full exam, full blood panel, seizure screening, heartworm testing, etc. If he is healthy enough we will have him dewormed, chipped and vaccinated as well. Because the former owner never vetted him in his 1.5 years of life and had been primarily left out doors we are fairly confident he will have heartworm, worms of every variety, ear mites and so on.

We were told he also had previously suffered a broken leg from being hit by a car, so we will also have that fully checked and evaluated to ensure proper healing took place.

Auggie is just such a love, has a very sweet disposition and absolutely loving being inside and has Kipper, a Jack Russell mix as a playmate. They have bonded nicely and enjoy each other so much.

We also purchased an ID tag and a GPS collar for him... just in case. These guys do love to run! He also enjoys a new puppy bed.

We are expecting his medical care to be fairly high because of his history and he also needs to be neutered if safe to do so soon with his current health and seizures they said he suffered. Once he has good groceries, is dewormed, seizures evaluated, etc. we will move forward with neutering.

Taking Auggie on was of course, not in our budget, but we couldn't say no.

We are hoping for some sponsors who would like to help with some of the medical costs, food, etc.

If you want to help this sweet boy, you can do so by using Venmo or PayPal and donations can also be called in to his vet there in Fergus Falls.

The clinic is Fergus Falls Veterinary Clinic.

UPDATE ON ATHENA THE RESCUE FROM BROOKLYN PARK.

Many of you cared a great deal about this sweet little kitten that was chucked in Brooklyn Park.

Athena is doing very well now, is fully vetted and is a very happy little girl.

She had one last vet appointment to recheck her liver and this as the last one, was all clear. It is believed she had toxins in her causing the liver elevations (purposefully or not).

Athena has been in a wonderful foster home that very well may be her forever home. The family loves her and if she and their other cat are okay together (slowly being introduced) then she is home!

To think what her fate was and where she is now is so incredibly joyful!

We would like to thank Shannon Roop for being a hero, dropping everything and running over to save her from freezing temps, our wonderful foster, Deanna Grizzell for also scrambling to take her in until we found a long term foster. To Jill Goldstein with Pause 4 Paws who helped us get Athena in the next day to the vet, all of the wonderful people who donated towards Athena's medical care and to Jill again for finding her a wonderful foster who hopes to adopt her.

It truly takes a village! Without all of these components and all of the amazing people who played a critical role in saving this sweet little peanut, wonderful endings would never be possible for those we are able to rescue from certain death because of bad humans who discard these cats like they are nothing and have no value.

For Athena, her story and fate were forever changed the moment we were made aware Athena had been dumped off.

WELCOME TO RESCUE SWEET ZENA: Sponsors for Zena are needed.

Last night we were finally able to safely get this sweet, friendly old gal inside, warm, safe and fed.

She showed up about a week ago at a trapping site we are working in Fergus Falls. She moved right into the warming station. She cried day and night and just wasn't ready to come to us until last night.

She is in rough shape and will be going to our vet on Monday.

We really can use some funding for her medical. This is now the 5th cat that has shown up at the site, needing medical that we just aren't funded enough to cover much more. We still have 7 more that need to be fully vetted along with 3 spays and 4 neuters from this project.

She will require antibiotics, Snap Test and a blood panel will need to be done.

If and when she is healthy enough and given her age, she needs to be spayed, vax, chipped and she very clearly needs a dental with some extractions.

She was dehydrated, frostbitten, has various small wounds, too thin and has car grease on her.

She may have been another dump at the mobile home park, could have wandered and got lost or she hitched ride here, which does happen in the winter.

If you would like to help Zena, sponsorship for Zena's medical is the best way to help us keep on...keeping on rescuing cats like Zena, other cats and/or colonies in danger.

As always we are so grateful for all of our amazing supporters ❤

URGENT: We are putting out a call for funding.

We have 7 cats in desperate need of altering from our Fergus Falls Trapping Project or there will be kittens and/or they will become victims.

We've exhausted our existing funds on the 26 cats already fully vetted and placed.

Our vet will do 3 males for $300, not including vax. Females are $150.

Cats there are being poisoned and/or shot with BBs. I'm heartbroken,we found another deceased kitty last week, making this the 5th one (that we know of) since we started trapping in late October, so there is urgency.😪

We can't place them until they are fully vetted so we are reaching out to our community of rescuers and friends for help.

As always we rely solely on donations and appreciate all of our amazing supporters, we are so grateful for you!

BATTLE LAKE KITTENS:
Mini Max and Little Houdini are two rescued kittens from Battle Lake about a week apart are thriving and in very good spirits, in spite of being deemed as discardable, tossed outdoors and abandoned by bad humans, in sub-zero temperatures with no food or shelter and were out there for likely 2 to 3 weeks until they each sought help at the doors of kind humans with big hearts. ❤💙

Warmth4Ferals sprang right into action bringing them into rescue, giving these littles a second chance. (They both had very amazing and compassionate people who without question saved their lives and to whom we are very grateful).

These brave resilient little peanuts are ~10 and 13 weeks old, have overcome adverse conditions with the survival odds completely against them along with a host of health issues including frostbitten ears and feet, heavy infestation of internal parasites and ear mites, Upper Respiratory Infections, GI issues and were emaciated.

Max's ears succumbed to the frost bite and lost both of his ear tips while Houdini will end up losing almost half of one ear and tip of his other giving him quite the designer ears and more character!

Following their complete recovery, they will both be neutered, fully vaccinated and chipped, these little peanuts will be available for adoption together in about 8 to 10 weeks. (Both have been SNAP tested, had full blood panels, antibiotics, treated for parasites and mites, etc.)

Both kittens have such sweet dispositions and are very affectionate. Max is pretty energetic enjoying a lot of play time with some cuddling throughout the day and is the more independent one.

Houdini enjoys playtime as well, but he really loves being with his person giving daytime cuddles, napping and nestling in his foster moms neck.

At night, they sleep safe and sound in their enclosed playpen with no fuss at all and go right to sleep.💤🌙

Once the right adoptive family is found, Houdini and Max will make wonderful lifelong companions.

MEET SPARKLES HOUDINI:
Our newest little rescue who is about 10 weeks old. Sparkles Houdini was found in Battle Lake, right by where little Max was also found and are very likely siblings. They were both discarded by very cruel humans who obviously chucked them outdoors to suffer and fend for themselves.

As you can see, his ears are in bad shape from frostbite and he will end up with "designer" ears, just like Little Max. He also has a URI developing and looks to also be full of round worms with that big ole belly.

He really is the sweetest little cuddler and just wants to be loved and to love someone all up, in spite of the trauma he has endured.

Houdini also had grease on him likely because he sought warmth in a car engine.

Thankfully, an awesome, heroic Good Samaritan heard him screaming outside and brought him inside, keeping him safe for a couple of days until we could take him in.

Sparkles Hpudini will be going to our vet tomorrow afternoon for a full work up.

Thank you to all Good Samaritans who don't turn their backs on an animal in need.🐾🐈‍⬛🐕❤❤🐈🦮🐾

Welcome to rescue sweet Sparkles Houdini!

WELCOME TO RESCUE LITTLE MAX:
Our recent pint sized rescue, 8 week old Mini Max who remains in good spirits and is coming along well, in spite of his frostbitten ears and feet after being forced outdoors when someone cruelly discarded him in Battle Lake.

Unfortunately, Mini Max now has designer ears, his ear tips succumbed to the frost bite and have fallen off, his paws are mostly healed.

He has some other health issues we hope will all be resolved as well with on going medical care, but he sure hasn't let any of them keep him down.

Look at this cuties mug!

UPDATE ON RESCUE KITTEN ATHENA AFTER VET VISIT:
We are seeking more donations for this sweet little peanut as continued medical care is definitely in her future.

We had high hopes after getting medical care her prognosis would be positive, and this doesn't mean it won't be in the future.

Athena's blood panel came back with several numbers off. Most concerning is her liver enzymes that are notably elevated and can be the result of a few causes such as toxins, genetic liver disease or liver damage, etc.

She will be watched closely for any signs of liver failure such as jaundice, lethargy, continued vomiting and so on.

Athena is now back with our wonderful Warmth4Ferals foster, Deanna and seems to be stable, eating and drinking better, but still having issues with diarrhea.

Athena is on a special prescription diet for now, has medication to help keep nausea and vomiting away

We opted to hold off on all routine vax, etc., until the cause of liver elevation is determined and pray fully able to successfully treated and her health is up to par.

We will continue to do everything we can for this little girl and keep high hopes she will fully recover with proper medical care.

On the upside, she is really coming along socially with her foster mama and allowing to be pet and handled now. She loves to do Roly poly's when her foster mom is with her, all great progress there. ❤

Thank you again everyone for all who have donated towards Athena's current medical care as well as the continued prayers, positive thoughts and support of this very deserving girl.

SWEET ATHENA OUR NEWEST RESCUE:
Yesterday we were contacted about a kitten having been abandoned some two weeks previously in Brooklyn Park and in need of rescue.

We immediately reached out on Facebook to our amazing indy rescuers in the area for help to go over and try to get her to safety.

Within 5 minutes, Shannon Roop Mitchell was our hero and sprang right in to action, successfully getting this scared little girl to safety and housing her overnight while we arranged for our amazing foster, Deanna Grizzell Loftquist to take her.

We named this sweet girl Athena. She presented underweight, was vomiting, not urinating and with diarrhea and most certainly traumatized.

We are up north working on a Feral Colony trapping project, therefore not down in the cities right now. We needed help for Athena and we sure got it.

Teamwork in our indy and rescue communities are so essential in times when any of us need it.

Step in our amazing friend Jill Goldstein and her rescue Pause 4 Paws. Jill immediately arranged not only an appointment at Rockford Road Animal Hospital but for transportation as well to and from the appointment.

Athena is stable and is in better condition than expected given the circumstances. She had a collar on and at one point had a home, then from all accounts, was cruelly discarded and left out in freezing temps to fend for herself.

A full blood panel was sent out, she received meds, is on a bland diet for now and back with her foster warm and loved while she regains good health. She also tested negative on Snap test thankfully.

We cannot say enough thank you's to our amazing network of rescuers who work tirelessly, 24 hours a day helping rescue animals in need and/or in danger, as well as all of the indys and animal lovers who donated for Athena's medical.

Without this incredible network we've all created, few rescues or saving so many would not be possible.

You all are incredibly amazing and deeply appreciated.

Welcome Little Max to rescue.

This sweet little 2 month old tuxedo guy had been outdoors for at least 1.5 weeks sadly fending for himself with no humans helping him.

Thankfully one of the other residents on the Lake saw him last Sunday and immediately got him to safety in their garage.

We went right into action and picked him up.

While he has some medical issues including frost bite on his ears and one pad which should heal well, his ear tips will be lost as a result of exposure.

He also has a very distended belly from a roundworm infestation not uncommon in this situation.

This little peanut has the most adorable doe eyes that look like he has eyeliner around them from his unique little face markings.

Max truly has the sweetest disposition and just can't stop showing how grateful he is to be safe, warm, fed and loved. He absolutely just loves his belly rubbed too.

When he is older, altered and ready for adoption, this little guy will make such a wonderful companion to someone. 🐾🐈‍⬛
