Hello, everyone! After a long break from everything, we are excited to announce that we'll be back selling our delicious healthy food again at the Tremonton Farmers Market this coming July 6th and every first Saturday of the month until September. We are also going to be under a new business name, Billie Dawns! Billie Dawn was my wifes mother, who grew up in the Tremonton area and was very well known and loved by all who knew her. We look forward to growing our microgreens and serving our salads and smoothies to you once more with love from Billie Dawns, LLC! See you there!!

Irey Market Garden is an indoor urban farm located in Ogden, Utah, specializing in growing microgreens and producing fresh and freeze-dried microgreen products. The Farm and Freeze-dry Technician position is a great learning experience where workers will gain experience in the following areas:



Plant Science
Gardening
Agriculture Business
Product Manufacturing
Customer Service
Cash Handling
Food Preservation
Food Science
Nutrition Science
Sustainability
Entrepreneurship
Food Handling (Food Handlers Permit paid for by employer)

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and desire to learn.

Position Type:

Part-time 10 to 20 hours per week

Flexible weekday hours between 7 am and 3 pm
Required every other Saturday from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm
Compensation:

$12 per hour



ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Attend Saturday Farmer's Market, educate customers, sell products, and transact purchases.

· Wait courteously on in-farm customers to provide requested products, prepare fresh food items, and transact purchases.

· Plant, water, harvest, and package microgreens and other produce.

· Prepare food and microgreens for freeze-drying.

· Operate and clean freeze-drying equipment.

· Package needed products to replenish retail areas.

· Keep the work area neat, clean, and orderly.

· Clean grow trays, kitchen tools, etc.

· Keep daily production records.

· Special projects as assigned such as social media posts, preparing various applications, updating website content, etc.



QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to lift 30 pounds; bend, kneel, stoop, pull, push, and perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced work environment; must be able to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.
