We are having lessons today, Sunday, December 22, 2024. We don’t teach if below 10 degrees for regular lessons & 20 degrees for the young (5 & 6 yr olds) kids. Hand & toe warmers are heavily suggested & use quarter sheets. Don’t leave horses unblanketed for to long. Pick out feet & brush lower legs before you pull blankets please.

Willowbrooke kids - Jen is looking for a tacker to cover the next few Sundays. 10am-4:30pm.
Need to know the horses & be able to get them from stalls/paddocks & help younger students/beginners groom & tack. It is a paid position. Must be 13+ yrs old & jump level rider
Also looking for a Sunday morning feeder to take over in January. 7am-11am. Must be 15+ yrs old

Great article about how important it is to get time in the saddle & ride all horses - doesn’t need to be fancy for saddle time. Lots of practice to move up the levels safely & do what’s right for the rider & horse

Welcome to the 2025 HJAM Horse Show Season!

Note the dates and locations of the HJAM-Owned Series of Shows have changed from 2024. Due to the decreasing attendance to these shows each year, changes have been made for 2025.

We Welcome Brave Horse in Johnston OH to the list of HJAM-Approved Shows!

Looking forward to seeing everyone in 2025!

Willowbrook clients:
Just a reminder lessons will be canceled Sunday, December 8 and Sunday, December 15 due to Horse shows here. Anyone is welcome to come and watch. 
Lessons will also be canceled on Tuesday, December 24 and Wednesday, December 25 along with Tuesday, December 31 and Wednesday, January 1 so everyone can spend time with their families.
We will have some extra lessons available on Monday today 12/23 & 12/30 since there will be no IEA practice and are happy to fit you into something later in the week also. 
After this, there should not be any cancellations until Easter.
We also have a few slots available in our holiday camp December 27 and 28th if anyone is interested.

Also our Holiday party is Monday, December 16 at 6pm. Please sign up by December 1.

For December we won’t have lessons on Sunday, Dec 8 & Sunday Dec 15 due to shows.
No lessons after 5pm on Dec 16 due to the party
No lessons Dec 24 & 25 or Dec 31 & Jan 1.

Willowbrooke Farm clients interested in doing any away horseshows in the next 6 months- don’t forgot we have a horseshow meeting in the observation room on Monday, October 28 at 6:30pm. It’s your chance to ask any questions & sign up for shows before they sell out. This is for anyone at the barn. You can do leases for the shows if needed or happy to discuss purchasing or costs

Cocktails at 6:pm. Dinner at 6:30 pm, Award Presentation to follow.

Ticket cost is $75.00 per person if reservations received by October 19th. After October 19th, ticket cost is $90.00 per person.

Willowbrooke Farm boarders - don’t forget horses are getting flu/rhino shots on Friday, October 4, 2024 so don’t plan on riding your horses after 10:30am - let them have the day off please. School horses lessons will still
Happen as we will get them done later.

The small indoor arena will be closed on Saturday, September 21, 2024 for leveling/maintence. Please bear with us while we are redoing our arenas. Everything will be opened back up early next week.
