Merry Christmas everyone! We want to thank everyone who supported us this past year with a purchase of a rabbit. We have many repeat customers and always welcome the chance to help teach others who are wanting to get started with rabbits.
I look back at stock I had a year ago and what I have been able to produce and I can see the difference. Despite a few setbacks we had a good year. In 2025 I hope to have more time to show some of our homegrown babies and I'm still on the hunt for great quality Giant Chinchilla breeding stock. I'm looking forward to meeting other breeders and making more friends in the rabbit world.

"Dirty Snow" weighs 5lbs 4oz at 12 weeks. She is a squirmy girl. She has really dense, nice fur. Not as wide or deep as I'd like.

Still have a few rabbits available.
Iris-broken blue, pedigreed New Zealand doe. DOB: 3-22-2023. She is a big pretty girl but will not lift to breed. Has not had a litter. Maybe someone else will have better luck. $50 or will trade for a pedigreed Rex blue doe.

I spoke too soon. Went to feed yesterday evening and all of JJs litter was dead. It looks like she may have peed on them and squished them. I will look for more tricolor and chocolate Harlequin stock and keep going. This is part of raising animals and it sucks. Angels babies were fat and warm. I could have/should have put the Rex babies with the smaller litter but I honestly didn't think about it at the time.

I don't want to jinx it but JJ had 7 kits. There appears to be 6 chocolate tricolor and 1 chocolate harlequin! It's been so cold and I don't want to chill them so I haven't taken a really good look at them yet.
Angel had 6 but only 4 alive. One broken black and the others look solid black, maybe a blue. I think the 2 dead were blue.
That's her biggest litter so far.

Have 2 does due today. Angel, a white NZ bred to my broken blue NZ Pretty Boy and JJ, my chocolate tricolor who was bred back to Moby before he was sold. Both made a really nice nest yesterday but as of yesterday evening hadn't pulled fur yet. Both are pretty big so I expect to come home after work and find babies. I'm glad it's warmer than it has been. JJ was resting in her box yesterday evening and using it as her pillow. Lol

In Fancy Like x Pretty Boy's litter we have 4 does, 2 bucks. The last pic is a buck and the other buck is a blue but I don't remember which lol. These babies are pedigreed and $50 each. Ready to go January 8.

Took a peek in the nest box of Fancy's cage. Her babies are 2 weeks old today and looking good! They are chunky healthy babies and I will get pictures tomorrow when I have time. These are our first pedigreed blue New Zealand babies so I'm excited for them. Will be evaluating them in a few weeks.

Still have black and really nice broken black from our broken blue buck.

Still have some New Zealand juniors. 2 broken black bucks, black buck, one black doe. One broken buck is quite a bit bigger and I'm expecting him to be a really good size. These are out of one of my best white (black) does and pedigreed broken blue buck. Will be good stock to breed or give them a few weeks and eat them.

Next weekend we will be showing at Lonoke. Going to take Troubador, Huckleberry, Tessie, and #3 who has finally been given the name Bounty. Looking forward to hearing what the judges say about our homegrown rabbits.

Well no babies from Angel and Pretty Boy. She didn't pull fur and wasn't interested in hay stashing but she looked huge. She is normally a great mama but she had two on the wire. Going to rebreed her to Pretty Boy in the next couple days. The blue and broken blue babies are doing great.

Rex and New Zealand babies almost ready for new barns. I have a black NZ buck and broken black NZ buck, 3 broken black does and 2 black does. Some of them are reserved, I just have to sort out who.
I am hoping Fancy Like has a live litter because she was bred to Pretty Boy.
