We are over the moon excited for this adoption!! 🌝🌠

Charo has been in foster care for a year between our rescue and another rescue. Charo has finally found her furever home! The adoption fee was sponsored as the volunteer was so excited by her adoption, just like we all are!

Congratulations to Tucker, Carol, Sylas and Chester Cheeto on being adopted! They have been with their home for quite some time, but have been officially adopted after being foster to adopt since last year!

Adoptable Pet of the Week!

Meet Grace!

This girl is not only adorable , she’s a survivor! She was found as a pregnant stray in Malad and nearly died from sepsis while giving birth. She also had an injury to her eye that resulted in her losing it. But none of that has damaged her spirit or her want for love and snuggles. Grace will do best as the only cat as she prefers to have all the attention and be the loving, snuggly princess that she is She’s well on the mend and is looking for someone to give her the family she deserves!

*Please note Grace may require additional medical, as she is special needs due to the removal of her eye. It's important to do research prior to considering an adoption*

Animal Abandonment Investigation

On 01-04-2025 at approximately 0545 hours, officers with the Pocatello Police Department responded to 855 E. Alameda at Maverik in reference to an employee locating a box containing seven newborn puppies abandoned in a dumpster. Surveillance video showed a tan or beige GMC truck with a dent on the driver’s side back panel with an unidentified male placed the box into the dumpster and drive away southbound on Randolph. Ordinance Officers started an investigation into locating the suspect. With the assistance from the public, officers received tips and developed a person of interest. At the end of the investigation, Ordinance Officers identified Tanner L. Pool (28 years old) of Pocatello and cited him with seven counts of abandonment of an animal Pocatello City Code (6.04.120B), and 8 counts of animal cruelty Pocatello City Code (6.04.140B). The Pocatello Police Department and the Ordinance Officers would like to thank the public for their assistance in this case.

**update we got lots of high cal donated, thank you everyone! We are still in need of miracle ni***es*

We are out high calorie gel for our kittens and adult cats. This helps provide extra calories and vitamins to malnourished cats that we rescue. We are almost out of ni***es and syringes for kittens.

We have a few cats who have been in foster for almost a year. We would love to find them a furever home!

Gaston has been in foster care since March 2023. He was found as a feral cat alongside his siblings and feral mom. Gaston doesn't like to be held but will take a long time to trust but he need a home where he has other cats to snuggle with, he's very independent and has been looking for a home for almost a year now. Let's find this sweet boy a home!

Gaston was caught as a feral kitten alongside his feral mom who was trapped. Gaston has been in foster for 6 months, with that time he has made such amazing progress. He is still looking for a home. where he can roam and be independent! He does great with other cats and dogs! We are still hopeful his furever home is out there waiting!
